I live in Quarry Bay, don't know which school is good, but just knew 蘇浙 is famous and already closed accepting application.
Victoria is expensive and saw the comments here saying that they run school like factory and business, i wanted to apply at the begining, and did called and asked for details, the manners of the answering staff did annoyed me and not very helpful, so I don't want my child being raise and teach by that kind of so called "professional" so I take them out from my list.
I mainly choose those close to my house and have applied:
- 躍思 (as my bb is 0808 b, so the teacher said will hv interview in Feb 2010, they usually start interview on Nov)
- 明我 (got call and ask me to get the interview slip and will arrange interview)
- 北角明慧 (Local section, will hv interview on 14/11)
I think travel distance is really a main concern, since there are many kids waiting school bus right outside our apartment every morning. And I saw many child did cry at the time waiting for school bus and refused going to school and yelling in the street complaining don't want to ride the long journey. So, I prefer school in our walking distance or at least I can send my kid to school without driving too far away. |
