I want to change to a better school for my son (P2). Cld u kindly share w/ me your ideas:

1. How do u think about the teachers in PKC? e.g their exp, their know-how in handling class problems e.g. hypro-active students, their maturity and responsivenss in communicating w/ parents?
2. How long does a student take to finish homework normally?
3. How do u think about the quality of school's self-developed teaching materials in PKC? e.g. fitting to the std of the students..
3. Are Eng and Mandarin the only teaching language? how about non-core Subjects?

My child is in G1 and I entered this school because of the recommendation of my friend, her child is in G5. So far we find most of the teachers very professional.

2. How long does a student take to finish homework normally?

It depends on the working speed of the child. There are usually 1 piece of Chi and Eng homework everyday. Math homework is given from time to time. You can do it everyday or do all on one day.

3. How do u think about the quality of school'sself-developed teaching materials in PKC? e.g. fitting to the std ofthe students..

I consider the quality quite good but family support is needed. If the child receive no support from family, they may find it very hard since they are much more harder than normal schools. But if the child is well supported by family, some may find it very easy to handle.

4. Are Eng and Mandarin the only teaching language? how about non-core Subjects?

Subjects include Chinese (include General Studies), English (include General Studies), Math, Chi Lang Art, Eng Performing Art, PE (different sports training), Music (Intrument playing and singing), Visiual Art (a varieties of art work are introduced) and Social Development (A lot of interesting activities that give us surprise, just like interest classes and a lot of outings)
