6 歲和九歲，佢地話可以幫助佢地明白考官問乜，同時亦可以幫佢地講野俾考官聽，唔使話有野想講，但唔知點表達。

呢個問題....有信心, 就唔駛請, 無信心, 就請啦
我女就無請, 因為我一向認為佢用英文溝通都ok
但琴老師分享過個例子:
有個學生, 先考aural, 考官問左個問題, 學生答yes, 考官再問多次, 學生答no, 跟住考官無再問, 考左第2樣野
個學生好驚, 因為知道應該係條問題既答案, 唔係yes亦唔係no, 但都衰左, 好驚, 之後既表現都影響埋

我每個學生第一次考琴都會請翻譯, 因為佢地一定會緊張, 無謂準備好的考試, 因為緊張而引致有差池.. 除非小朋友的母語係英語, 咁就唔請翻譯都ok..

hello~ i am a music teacher actually~ teaching several instruments..
ask your music teacher to train your son/daughter in english in every single lesson..
the fee of hiring a interpreter is relatively unreasonable this year, and also the examinations fee.. if possible, i would highly recommend not to pay for it~
besides, for grade 2, only a few questions has been asked, which is just like MC questions, you can also help in training your son/daughter

Yes, because it was the first time my son attended the piano exam. I thought it might give him more time to think about the questions being asked.

However, it was not necessary for my son because he communicates well with the examiner and most of the time, by-passed the translator.

I think it is a matter of confidence.
