If you meant Knox Grammar in Sydney, then I visited both schools personally, and they are very different. So it depends on what you are looking for in a boarding school.
Knox Grammar is in a northern suburb in Sydney called Waroonga. It is a city school, next to the railway station, and they are adding a new complex currently. It has a large student population and the boarder to day student ratio is 1 in 2. So it is more like a seconday school in Hong Kong, next to the main road, a little crowded in my view.
Geelong is a small town with 160,000 people one hour drive from Melbourne, south-west. There is nothing in the surrounding, all residential houses, and it takes 15 minutes just to get to the township of Geelong. It has a lot more open spaces, even its own stable for hourses. The border are 1 out of 2 in the student population.
Geelong is more famous worldwide. Even Prince Charles of Britain is an alumni. |
