My son got accepted by both DBS & St. Stephen's, I know that we are very lucky to have choices, but we are struggling between these 2 schools as they are both very good.
My son likes very much the environment of St. Stephen's, but due to the remoteness, he has to be boarder for all 6 years that I am quite reluctant (will miss his growing, our relationship, etc...) For DBS, we can opt for only 1 year boarding just to experience the boarding life & learn to be independent. I personally more inclined to go with DBS, but at the end of the day, it is my son studing not me, so I repsect his thoughts but just wonder if it is an informed decision for him with limited knowledge about the schools.
Boarding is not the only factor for consideration, apart from this, can any one give some advice comparing these 2 schools in terms of their resources, teachers/students' qualities, universities entry rate, etc ?? Many thanks!!! |
