Both are good schools. In fact, this topic has been around for so many years and in my old days as a St. Marian,
people had been comparing.
At the end of the day, one should ask whether the
school's mission, religion, teaching methodology etc
fit your child. You can find that in their respective
website. Comparison based on reputation or how
many top students are too superficial and won't add
any value to your decision making.
To me, St. Mary's place equal emphasize on moral
education and academic standard. The school encourages
people to be humble, biblical and they treat all the
students the same disregarding their family
background. The latter point is the key characteristic of
Canossian family student which I like the most.
For Maryknoll, lots of my common friends and my
relatives are coming from this equally good school but
unfortunately, I do not have a deep understanding
of the school mission and you have to do some due
dilligence checking yourself. |
