My BB was born in Nov 2005 and was admitted to the pre-nursery class, commencing this August, instead of Nov. However, I read from BK that a BB must reach the age of 2 before taking this kind of class (a legal requirement). Does anyone know why this kind of smaller BB can go to school before 2 years' old?

Because it's a private one. My girl was born in 11/04, started Vic PN in 8/2006!

Yes, it's a legal requirement. Maybe some schools make use of the grey area and accept the kids in 'playgroup' in the first few months before the kids reach 2. My girl is also accepted to Victoria this year. The school told me that she would attend the class in September instead of August as she was born in September.
