我個女九月會讀RC Y1。有後多朋友說，讀國際學校容易變壞及吸毒，特別是升上中學後，吓得我心驚肉跳，唔知係唔係有咁既事。

請IS家長分享吓經驗。

Drug issue is not only happened in IS, but also in local school. I think it is very important that the parents should have very close communication with the kid on a daily basis, in order to check if your kids have problems or not, no matter in IS or local school.

個人認為，國際學校也好，本地學校也好，疏離的親子關係才是子女變壞的一大誘因，學校是社會的縮影，人在社會上，總是會接觸到好的與不好的事物，但是全靠父母是否得到子女的信任，能夠適時提供正確的意見，才能盡量避免他們走上歪路。但為人父母，從來都不是一件容易的事。

Drug problems is everywhere.
And in fact, I think local schools, including elite schools, have more serious problems.
Drug problem issues has been highlighted
in both Chinese and English newspapers recently. In fact, many local elite school students are on drugs.
Just that the schools (and parents) do not want to admit this.

those who said IS have serious drug and other issues, do they have kids attending IS or personally know kids going to IS? i think you should ask them to clarify.
