我自己好矛盾,又想佢入到,可以有個好好嘅開始,將來條路好行啲.但係就算收又唔一定可以讀,因為我住係香港島,接送係一個好大問題...

Actually, I have a big query and big question ? Many applicants had interviewed, I really want to know how about the guideline of the headmastress ?
In facts, many artists' children were accepted, including Eison daughter, Yam Tat-wah daughter and Ah B daugther etc. We are just normal citizen, I really want to know the guideline !!!!

其實, 我同bb去左interview 之後, 有d失望. 因為, 我覺得MRS.FLIEDING 無可能只用1-2MINS 就可以知道小朋友合唔合尼間學校. 最主要只係合唔合佢眼緣同MRS FLIEDING 又無"關係". 如果一早知道係咁, 我一定唔會安排BB去返面試班. 1.5-2MINS 跟本唔會問到你任何野. 我亦想提下出年想係INTERVIEW之前返面試班的, 可以慳番D時間...無謂浪費. 同BB去玩下重好.

只係小朋友一個入去interview,家長係出面等,唔知道發生mud事!過程大約兩分鐘,跟住就出番嚟!

我用咗成個星期問阿女,大致如下:

1. 佢個名(阿女答咗中交,應該mrs. fielding教佢講番英文)

2. shapes(阿女答我嗰陣係中文,唔知佢interview有無答英文)

3. 睇條魚(我諗入面有養金魚,問佢金魚做緊mud?阿女話sleeping! )

4. 校長叫佢數吓有幾粒糖

5. colour

6. animals

7. 睇barney & noddy

8. dancing

不過未必全部係真,因為得兩分鐘,無可能做o甘多嘢!

出嚟嗰陣,mrs. fielding只係同我講'she is very sweet!'無其他comment!

We also want to know the selection criteria, perhaps just by Mrs. Feildings' gut feelings.

My friend's son is fluent in English, he himself is well educated with PhD, MBA, and wife is a house-wife. But still his son is just on waiting list. Any successful case from BK here?

I heard from my friend's friend... that for successful applicant who's interview time at least 5-7 mins! If below it, the chance will be very very little....

My friend's interview was this year, in Jan 2009. He told me the interview lasted about 3 mins, and he received the result not long ago. Anyone like to share their results here?

Really!? Somebody already got the result? No matter it is ture or not, I'm feeling upset in these few months. First of all, my daughter didn't want to tell me what happened during the interview. I don't know how they can know/judge a child who is suitable for this school in such limited interview time.

No need to be upset! Our kids already did there best! Whatever the result is positive or not, our kids still our lovest! Right?

Let's take it as a valuable experience towards the keen competition of local education.

Agree! Not being accepted by CCKG does not mean the chance of getting into your desired primary school is zero or your kid is not as good as the others!

Sorry, I did not mean to cause so many of you to be worried.  I will double check with my friend again, maybe he got it wrong.  Which is quite possible, since his wife does most of the arrangements.

My son is already in P2, already passed all the headaches, thank God.  But his little cousin is applying next year.

Hope all of you good luck. Like Jujing said, not getting into CCKG is definitely not the end of the road.  Just look at it as a bonus along the way.

我個仔都係入左去2-3分鐘左右, 出來仲手拿著一粒糖

我問阿仔, 校長問乜, 佢話: "Do you want some candies?" 阿仔答左yes, 就比左佢了
阿仔話係比本書佢問佢本書入面的, 如colour, shape...etc. and that it!

我見到其他家長超緊張, 放鬆啦!

No, sorry.  I heard wrong, my friend was talking about something else.  He also got a rejection letter last Thurs.  Good luck to everyone else.

I think the interview is definitely too short, and there is no time for kids to "warm up".  So it is important for them to be comfortable in speaking English with a foreign lady.  Also, keeping them happy and cheerful just before the interview is very important too.

My son was on waiting list a few years ago, and was accepted in the end.  So don't give up.

I called. The lady there said not every kid who is not accepted will be put on the waiting list. However, only the principal knows the exact number on the list.

Just curious - how long was the interview for those who were accepted? Some previously said that the longer the interview, the higher the chance. Want to see if it is right.

No. I know a girl who received an offer from CCKG this year, the duration is also about 3 minutes only (normal).
