我兒子一直睇緊Dr. Trodd, 佢第一次consultation fee $750? $800唔太記得, 不過, 驗0野就貴貴地...維他命價錢都算合理, 因為可以食好耐

Thanks for your sharing. Please do no mind I reply in English, my Chinese typing is really slow. How’s the result after taking the free of Gluten and free of dairy product diet. Does your son really not taking any food contains gluten and casein. How about when you’re dining outside? My son really loves to eat bread and rice, and I did try the bread without gluten, the taste is really not good and it is very expensive. Do the rice contain gluten, I’m so confuse, only can find the organic rice in the market.

Actually, my son can talk but not as good as his peer group, I think he is an autism kid with mild symptom. Is the 生物治療
fit to every autism kid? By the way, do you let your son to eat organic foods? Would you mind to share what food do you let your son eat? If you stop the diet, will the autism symptom come back or getting worse? Sorry for so many question.

最先醫生可能會幫小朋友驗尿, 血 / poopoo...其實一切用藥/ supplement 都會因應報告而開

但生物治療的大前題係戒奶 & wheat free, 的確係幾難0架...因為冇wheat 0既包硬都c, 味道又差, 所以我就連包都少比阿仔食...奶, 阿仔就轉飲薯仔奶

餅干& cookies 就幾ok...面亦ok, 可以食米粉

我阿仔都食緊幾多supplement, 有d係Dr. Trodd開, 有些則在Little Giants買, 包括:

DMG
Cod Liver oil- orange favor
Vit D

GSE

multi vitamin (super Nu-Thera Powder)

唔...你話有冇幫助, 咁我個仔係同時間幾樣0野一齊行, ABA, SI...宜家2歲半, 都叫做有單字, 有短句 (中&英)

我都有試過放棄一個月, 因為太難頂...不過, 見佢真係容易病0左...徵狀又好似多番

出街食飯就冇咩問題, 不過番學就要同學校單聲, 學校都好明白亦會配合0架...

但我提議你先睇醫生, 再作決定...因為個個自閉兒0既處方都不同

不過, 大前題就係gluten free & wheat free

I let my son tries of gluten free and wheat free product for a week, if I want to bring him to Dr Trodd, how many days I should stop the gluten free and wheat free diet before I visit the doctor?

Why your son needs to take so much supplement, is it because he has the gluten and wheat free diet?

BTW, is Dr Trodd a good doctor? I also got the name card from Little Giants.

i heard from many parents that they would tried acupuncture in Guangchou Chinese Herb Hospital to relieve the problematic behaviors and unstable emotions raised by Autism. Some said the effectiveness is good for their children.

My son's art teacher asks me to let my son tries 針灸 in Wanchai, she said the result is good, but the treatment is on the head, so not dare to try, want to gather more opinions first.

因為我阿仔腸胃有菌, 所以要食GSE (grape seeds extract)殺菌, 另外食益生菌增強抵抗力對抗害菌

同埋佢有佢又真係驗出缺鈇, B12

DMG亦普遍開比有言語遲緩0既自閉兒...其他魚油, Amino, lecthin 都係針對腦部發展

0係Dr. Trodd 0既概念, 如果你buy biomedical , 你就要戒奶, wheat...0係直到永遠...

當然我都明白係十分艱鉅, 但只少0係佢發緊育0既階段咁做...等於我們甚少比煎炸/ 有防腐劑0既 0野比小朋友食...但佢0地長大后要食就控制唔到啦

其實奶0個 part真係唔難戒, 面包可能難d, 因為市面上好多粉面都含穀類

另外, 都要因應你小朋友的程度...我阿仔情況係中度, 所以相對地問題亦比較多

但我就應該唔會行螯合療法, 因為聽聞都幾傷身

Thanks for your reply. I just called Dr Trodd’s office, her nurse said if I can fully understand English, he can take my case; otherwise, he is too busy to take the new case. For the normal conversation, I think I can handle it, but some technical terms I may not understand, so hesitate.
Do you know does 大豆
product (e.g. Tofu, 芽菜) contain gluten, can your son eat those foods?

據我所知大豆類應該不含gluten

應該係$850consultation fee。豆奶的話,dr trodd會叫你食少d,未做food test前,他曾經同我講。因為它的蛋白質成分好大機會都有intorlence, 我個仔都係。我都看過dr trodd,意見跟cocoma很相似,食supplement,但不行chelation。食物問題在學校係幾煩,如果test咗有其他野唔食得仲:( ,但要積極面對:D 。

今日又睇Dr. Trodd, 但醫生建議停DMG, 因為阿仔開始出現hyperactive...

另外, 開始試打B12 針, 改善情緒及言語

如果你來近睇Dr. Trodd佢開DMG比你, 你唔洗買, 我送一支未開過0既比你啦, 你話之前0係little giant買, 你只需問他用量...

我個仔有自閉傾向,現在3歲幾都只係講單詞. 近日响廣華醫院中醫部做咗9次針灸, 每次日$150, 主要針頭,但要留30分鐘. 不過個醫師手勢熟練, 阿仔未講完"咩事呀?好痛呀!!" 已經完成9針喇. 不過最難係要引開佢注意等佢唔記得咗有針响頭. 我個仔就易攪掂,只要不停俾小食俾佢就會安靜下來...

Which brand did u try?
I bought a variety of milk for my kid- Almond, Hazelnut, Quinoa, Rice and soya. He hated them all. He was only willing to drink Isomil Advance (soya based formula).
Do u find the potato milk tasty?

I guess the one your art teacher's refering to is the same one my son is having treatment. Just have our first visit there this week, hence result yet to be observed. The practitioner will give the parent a try first (not really that painful, just like mosquito bite) before applying on the child.

regarding th potato milk, i used to buy from Little Giant, taste is good and rich in calcium, also not so expensive

Hi all mamas,

Sorry. Long time no visit babykingdom, don't know so many feedbacks. Dr. Trodd gave me Diflucan (Vitamin D) and Lactobac, no DMG is given. He said my son is not a serious case.

My parents are so against me to bring my son to have 針灸，but I heard all the feedbacks about 針灸 are so good. Some kids can go to normal primary school. What a good news.

But my son also can speaks in short sentence (both english + cantonese)- he is now 2yrs and 8mths

Might be my son has deficiency in B12 from the report, thus he suggested him to take DMG, now he even need to take B12 injection

Thanks for your reply, How's the B12 treatment, is it work? Do you need to visit Dr Trodd frequently? So hesitate that should I continue the GFCF diet, I heard from other parent from my son's school, she tried 2 months and quit, because no big improvement during the 2 months, sound likes the parent and school (Heep Hong) are not quite support this type of diet. Did Dr Trodd tell you how long you have to keep the GFCF diet?

My son is suggested to take the B12 injection since he has speech delay but DMG made him hyperactive thus Dr. Trodd asked us to stop it

Hm...after he took the B12 injection for 2 weeks, i still not yet seen any improvement, only not so hyperactive

For the GFCF, even u consult Dr. Trodd he must says if u trust biomedical u have to follow forever

My son's school is quite respect and cooperate with us for the decision of GFCF
