Don't worry! My daughter did the test twice! As we knock door again after we failed for the 1st time.

Finally, she is now at SFA for P1.

Just make sure to prepare your child well for the interview.

Hi tracytang,

I knock door when I have not received any acceptance letter after 1st interview.  I guess if you are planning to do so, you have to do it ASAP!  Also, trying to update them more often until JUNE.

We had another round of interview at end-June 09, with a group of 10 each time.  You need to prepare your kids well for the 2nd interview as you will have to go through the test again. This time, better show some improvement in the test results as the teachers will compare them with the first one.

For my daughter, she attended the 2nd interview at end-June and got acceptance call on the next day.  It is quick.  There are lot of people knocking the door as well as I see so many of them in one group.. and there are several groups before my daughter's group.  The 2nd interview was conducted in several days to pick the best students again.

我覺得對一個約五歲的小朋友來說, 是非常深的, 我個仔話有1+4+3, 有好多英文問他識那個生字等等..., 佢講比我聽的題目都很深, 我相信佢應該都入唔到這所學校的。但我都認為佢好好, 因為佢可以講到超過10題的題目比我聽。

when i ask my son, he always said he can;t remember... the only one he said is (Eng) Who you like the most, dad, ma or teacher... .. and my son answer teacner???

This is so-called "名校". It is not education or teachers of the school is great; it is the children enrolled are smart.

teacher in english...e.g. how many childred are

My daughter told me that they asked to draw a picture, English story telling by teacher, some questions in paper about English, Chinese and one math question is 15-2. She said she tried her best to finish them. I am really appreciated of her effort. Thanks to my lovely daughter !!

1. 中文故事係講醜小鴨, 問咗5題問題
2 英文故事係 x'mas presents, 有一個男仔一個女仔, 收到5份禮物, 要圈出聽到嗰5份禮物, 故事題都係圈出答案
3. 普通話題, 問我個囝今年幾多歲
4. 英文題問佢喺學校最鍾意做乜, 最鍾意食d 咩
5. 數學題, 14-2, 13+8, 同要幾多個5 至會去到10
6. 其他問題: 問咗佢叫咩名, 住喺邊, 喺邊間學校讀書
7. 呢題好奇怪, 佢叫我個囝畫一朵花, 不過又唔係英文問, 又唔係用普通話問, 就咁用廣東話問, 唔知呢題有咩作用

妳仔好叻, 可以記得番, 佢應該可以成功入讀.
我個仔只係話有兩份卷, 一份唔記得, 可能佢唔識, 第二份有兩幅圖, 叫佢畫公仔, 用英文問佢三條數(5+5+10=? & 6+6+12=? & 6+6=?) 佢只係識2條...

不過佢已經好叻因為D問題真係好難, 我相信我個仔已經盡了力......

首先係寫自己嘅中英文名,
然後第一張纸:
Part A- 有三題中文科(CD机播問題) A,B,C 題
Part B- ENG. Listening (Story of Animals)
佢話比我聽Ｄ問題係 :
Q1. What can you see Wai Wai? I can see a parent, Now, can you write  NO. 1.
Q2. What can you see Wai Wai? I can see a Lion, Now, can you write  NO. 5.
Q3. What can you see Wai Wai? I can see an elephant, Now, can you write  NO. 3.
Q4. What can you see Wai Wai? I can see a Giraffe, Now, can you write  NO. 4.
Q5. 佢話唔記得咗問乜!!!
然後第二張纸:
Part A : Drawing - Topic : 水喉
跟住行去個Miss 面前答問題:
Part A : Maths
1. 7 + ( )=10
2.15 - 2 = ?
3. 佢話唔記得,淨係記得加數題目
Part B : 讀英文生字,張咭內有數個英文生字,叫佢讀出嚟,我个囡話淨係記得有Pencil同basketball其它有D唔記得係乜同有Ｄ未學過唔識讀喎!!!
Part C:
比幅有个太陽嘅圖佢睇,個sun嘅位至在card的"左上角",然後問When the SUN turn 2 times?再比四幅不同位至的sun既圖叫佢答!
Part D :
圖畫記億題: 幅圖有棵樹,火車,煲蓋,車,飛机.然後比另一張card佢睇不過內面加了鉛筆,擦膠,和以上物件等..
問:將頭先有嘅物件請你講返出嚟?
Part E : LAST Question
Who do you like most ? Father, Mother or teashers ?

我個囝我你個囡問的問題完全一樣，佢話中文的問題完全唔識, 因為未見過這些中文字。佢話有一估謎語題, 又白又滑, 好甜的, 有三個答案, 1.popcorn, 2.雪條, 3.雪糕。數學題有1+3+4=?

my daughter said that no putonghua or writing in her batch, cos I have told her it should have those sections

For math, she recalled 5+3+4
But she told the teacher that it has not taught in school yet.

For english, she recalled that a few english vocab. asked by teacher, but she did not know "a lot" as all those have not taught in school yet'She said that she did not know at least 6 words

我個仔問了以下問題 ( 排名不分先後)

1. 記憶題 : 講一個動物故事, 內裹有好多動物, 最後問邊隻動物係做個 d 野 ?

2. logical : 如果有隻鴨仔想上山, 應該點樣上山 ? A. 行路上山 B. 游水上山 C. 坐車上山

3. 有個鐘, 你估個鐘會唔會 A. 郁 B. 講野 C. ( 我唔記得左 )

仲有幾條都係呢類形問題, 我忘記左

4. 畫畫題 : 老師講有一粒種子, 之後會變成咁, 再之後又咁, 最後變成咩 ? ( 中間點變, 我又唔記得 ) 最後阿仔話變成花, 所以佢畫左花

5. 去老師樹問問題 : 數學題
e.g. 5+4+6 = ?
10 + 5+4 = ?
13-5 = ?
(類似呢 d 數學, total 有5-6題)

6. 去老師樹問問題 : 英文題
有一張 card, 內裹有10幾個英文生字, 有 crocodile, vegetable, table, chair, grapes, mango 等等,

老師抽一張圖畫出來, 叫小朋友係個10幾個生字裹, 找番個幅圖畫既字出來, total 問左9-10 個英文字

7. 老師問 :
What is this ? this is a bear, pls write down three ?
What is this ? this is a apple, pls write down four ?
還有幾題都是這樣的模式的

仲有, 係答題紙上面, 要寫自己中, 英文名

答案真係要老師先知道佢地想要咩答案, 我用番呢條問題問另一位小朋友, 個位小朋友答, " 坐車上山 " 因為快 d 呀 ma

I remembered last year... they have put down the students' marks.. if you kids have noticed that.. check with them.. I also heard from some of my friends that their children have noticed their marks...

My girl was not able to notice that last year. But this year, I have friends' daughters have noticed they put down the marks on the paper... not sure how they mean it.. she said about 20++ marks..

As far as I know, they have marking on the kids presentation and test. Same for last year. They will pick those good marks ones..
