各位好, 仔仔今年 9 月就係小一生啦, 心情好緊張

噙日收到校車 d 資料啦, 今早就寄返番去, (怕冇位

), 我住嗰度 d 時間好好, 阿仔可以約 8 點先上車 (仲可以送埋佢上車先返工

), 放學 3:45 就到站, 暫時應該唔駛搬屋

我係噙晚收到嫁. 係用 DBS 白色 A4 信封, 唔係我哋交嗰 3 個. 封信係關於校車安排, 內有校車申請表, 車費路線表同車費 autopay 申請表

3 月 26 日前, 新生就寄去間校巴承辦公司, 舊生就交比校車媬姆, 但因為話 First come first serve, 我咪今日就寄番去 lor

我封信個日期係 15 號, 郵 chop 就 17 號

其實係咪一開學就要幫佢揀課外活動呢? 唔知校車點安排呢? 我哋住港島, 怕佢放完學又課外活動, 番到屋企會好攰, 好難適應

Hi ladykin,

I am not sure about the after school activities, maybe they won't be starting till the 2nd or 3rd term in p1?

But besides the main subjects, chinese, math, english, common knowledge, phys ed, moral & religious education, won't they be able to choose 1-2 other subjects as electives?? I am not sure, that's why I have been waiting for more info from the school... :)

I have talked with the guy from the school bus company, he said if you join the after school activities, there will only be school buses to 2 mtr stations (leaving the school at 5pm).... on the kln side is prince edward (one more at 4:30pm), on the hk side is admiralty, and for p1 students it is better if you have an adult to accompany them from getting on the bus at school to either of the 2 mtr stations.

Please share if you have other info...

Hi, I have only heard that you can join swimming this summer... but I don't know about the other sports or activities... however, I don't plan for my son to join the swim team... how about you guys, if you want your sons tojoin the swim team, you should look into their summer schedule.

And yes, it would be nice if some 師兄 mommies can tell us more info... please!! :)

hi, i might go to the demonstration concert but i don't think it is a must to take the music lessons... because it looks like it is a private/2 students lessons... my son's already taking private lessons so i don't plan to let him take another private lessons... does anyone have another understanding or other info regarding the music lessons?? and i will try to find out more on the 26th...

does anyone know which uniform co is better?? please advice...

summer uniform 係灰短褲, 白裇衫(冇校章), 黑皮鞋和白短襪. 呢啲係邊度買都得. PE衫要係SK/KL買, 兩間都差唔多.

最好係學校訂書, 有時啲書唔齊, 係出邊好難搵.

this yr, only the 1st week is half day... there r 3 days which r full days without lunchbox service... that's why we r scratching heads here...

for the grey shorts, is there a standard grey we need to follow??

and are there any summer activities which our kids can join this summer before p1??

普通小學生灰色短褲就可以, 校服商有現貨供應, 八月先去買都唔遲.

summer activity 唔清楚, 通常都係 swimming course. 另外八月尾會有迎新日.

上年就14/9先開始返full day, 開學日會派 lunch order form.

Instrumental class 無 piano, 我會比小朋友先聽 demo concert 再決定, 學 String instrument 比 piano 更辛苦, 事先要了解小朋友的興趣和時間分配再決定, 記住..報左就一定要玩一年

囝囝用過lego護脊書包, 但佢嫌硬身, 而家用緊普通backpack 反而最鍾意, 呢個用左兩年. 其實唔駛買咁大個, 因為佢地啲書分四冊, 每天要帶既書唔係好重.

(呀仔而家幼稚園校服都係 KL, 我覺得都ok), 因為怕summer 人多, 好迫~~

KL 有黑色皮帶賣, 我見佢好general, 就買咗一條, end up 我買咗:
2套 summer uniform+ 一套 PE uniform + 一條皮帶 = hk$3xx.

另外我又好心急咁打咗去 Hong Kong Book Centre,

佢地話而家未有書, 要7月再問, 因為佢地想d書返齊至賣, 咁家長唔駛走幾轉~

我個仔係 Lowcock house (purple)!!

i also went to ask at the hk bookstore! but for the uniform, i was thinking of buying 1 set from each store and compare, and then go to the better one in the coming yrs... now that u say kl is ok, i might just go there only... haha!

I bought a "Seven" schoolbag for my boy a few weeks ago as I found good comments from BK mums. It's really light and hope it's worth the price la.

I bought the schoolbag in Harbour City (the shop selling branded kids clothes near It's Imagical). Marked price $960 and the saleslady gave me 10% discount when I asked her whether any credit card promotion

Both size in the link are available and I bought the "Advance Backpack" type, which is smaller. The schoolbag is not "too long" for my boy considered he is a M size. Should let your boy try before buying since the schoolbag has to be 貼背.

Same as you, I can't wait to rush to KL for uniform today. I brought 2 set of sport and formal uniform, 1 cardigan but not belt. I want to buy a vest but out of stock. Will go to KL again later.

BTW, what activities will your son join in summer holiday?

I went to KL today to purchase uniform, the staff suggested that Aug should be the appropriate time for choosing the size of uniform as kids may get fatter and taller during summer holiday.
They promised the adequate supply of uniform and seldom out of stock. ( but i still got 2 sets of uniform today.....may be I am too rush

Good to know that we have a newcomer!! So far we have 3 Lowcock Hse parents here already!

To be honest, I didn't arrange any "summer activities" for my son at this stage.  I would prefer to wait for primary school confirmation that what sort of activities they will offer during summer.  I hope to attend the swimming class if possible.

This is the last year in KG, we hope he can enjoy and relax during holidays.  Of course, current after school classes such as drawing, music etc still ongoing.

How about you?  If you found any good courses, let's share and may be we can go together?

My son has been attending swimming class and piano class since K2 and he loved them very much.  plan to continue these training in summer holiday.

As we 'll be out of town from mid-July,  those activities will be resumed by Aug.

Same as you, want my son to have a happy and enjoyable summer holiday before Grade 1.

May I know your son's name? So that we can meet each other in 18 June .:loveliness:
