小兒下年考K1..
我希望小兒可以從小在基督教學校長大..
也知道聖公會幼稚園的派位不錯..
(我希望他可入st. paul boys)
聖公會幼稚園好嗎?
我是小學教師,也問過我校長的意見
她說聖公會幼稚園是一所好幼稚園,但英文程度比較淺
是嗎? thanks.

SKH 競爭非常激烈。因為會自己出去再學英文，小朋友英文程度大多是非常好。

我仔仔今年會讀聖公會, 交通真係好唔放便, 搵唔到校車, 坐地鐵又行好遠, 都幾吊腳,只 好自己開車接送, 但為咗仔仔未來, 辛苦d都要啦 ! (我都係想入st.paul boy)

我都有諗過搬, 但老公想到小學先, 如果入到ST.PAUL BOY或其它灣仔到中西區既小學,就會搬, 但如果到時到9龍區小學, 就唔想又搬返9龍, 所以都係等到小學先搬.

其實都好睇當日考你個老師, 佢一個感覺好重要, 老實講, 當日仔仔表示, 並唔係答晒所有問題, 但我留意到一樣野, 佢地好重視家長, 不是講身家, 唔係講住邊度. 因老師問我的問題, 同我自已做咗D工課比老師睇, 老師個表情, 十分驚訝, 到而家我都好記得個表情, 可能佢要係會花時間和心機比小朋友既家長啦 ! 我估下咋, 佢IN咗我地差不多10分鐘, 問我小朋友個優點和缺點, 學校中意小朋友有紀律, 有發指令比仔仔, 這點仔仔做到, 但分顏色分錯咗, 拼圖做到, 答3條問題, 有答但眼無望老師. 補充一點, 我好早拿面見証, 我早上7點就去學校排啦, 希望幫到你地啦 !!

SKH is my dream school because of it's teaching environment + relax teaching style + is a Christian school. My girl answer all questions and did all the teacher requested her to do during the interview, with a nice smile and polite, still she hasn't been accepted. Therefore, agreed that they might also consider "parent" as well...

我上年都好似你地咁, 不繼搵資料, 但堅公會資料好少, 可能聖公會既家長, 大多都是專業人事, 無時間上來傾, 我不是專業人事, 時間多些, 有空我都會答你地INTERVIEW既問題, 其它有關學校教學情度, 你地自已上學網啦, 學校有寫咗每個星期教咩內容. 深淺不家要求不同, 不過學校放學有英文興趣班, 放學上補習, 自願性的.
大家都是做媽媽, 我上年都感受到, 這種考學校既壓力, 比自己見工重大壓力. 所以我都好願意分享一下, 今年停1年, 出年到細女又泥過.

My son will be studying in Lingnan PN class in coming August ... many parents said it is good in discipline training but not very academic. Which school does your kid attend for PN? 我唔覺學校介意你有無錢, 讀緊邊間學校, 係大仔還是細仔.
我唔係住半山, 唔係有錢人, 讀緊德寶. 9月出生(細仔). 如有家姐哥哥讀緊係優先, 因註冊時, 上午班都多數係有哥哥姐姐讀緊的.

其實我覺得聖公會面試好睇個小朋友定唔定同埋聽唔聽老師既說話，會唔會坐唔定周身郁，另外，面試時都好睇家長了唔了解個小朋友，知唔知小朋友既優點同缺點，缺點會點幫小朋友解決。
我都唔係有錢人又無referral，都唔係有哥哥姐姐讀緊架！

Just curious. Want to know why many of you would like to go to St. Paul's Boys?
In order to get into St. Paul's Boys, SKH is not the only way. And I don't think it's really really help. My elder son is now in P1 at SPCPS, out of 32 students, I think only 4 to 5 from SKH. Others include Victoria, Lingnan, Ling Liang Church.
My second son will be SKH K1 this September. Agreed that SKH looks for a kid that is more independent, able to express him/herself. Able to do as instructed. Whether parents' response if important, I am not so sure. 'cause the teacher only talked to us for 3 to 4 mins. My husband did not prepare at all, when asked about our kid's strength and weakness, we did not say much. That's why I think the kid's performance is much more important.
I am willing to share if anyone is interested.

as mentioned in the briefing session back in March, the formal enrollment will be in late May to early June. By that time, we need to pay the first month school fee.
according to the existing parents, the drop out rate is very low. 
do you know anyone know the heads? they said the chance is higher if you know them and talk to them directly.

My boy will go to SKH K1 a.m. class this Summer and I've contacted some nanny bus to run from West Kowloon to SKH via the West Harbour Tunnel.
Costs would be 1.8K x 6, or 2.5K x 4.
Drop-off point would be the hospital end entrance where the school bus stops.
