我都好想知, 我年代既GH係一間好好既學校, 點解而家大家都講到好似好不堪咁, 真係差左咁多咩?

最唔明係聖家(唔講錢), 德望既banding係咪點都高過聖家? 係德望退步左咁多定係聖家banding升左咁多? 我無意講衰是但一間學校, 只係想知真實情況去做決定.

其實唔係這樣
而係BK上提Good Hope來比較的是一些更好的學校
如HY/ St. Paul Convent/DGJS

這樣子不可比啊,所以唔係Good Hope差

不過我唔會報Good hope是因我那個囡是馬騮女,要讚,又有主見,要多問題,多口
所以為了避免要失禮
都係唔敢報

睇你同邊間比, 除女拔外, 德望應該係九龍區女私校first choice, 程度應該無一間津校能及, 好唔好係睇你自己小朋友讀唔讀得上囉. 德望就好似聖芳濟咁, 好多好top既女生已經插左出去名校, 程度高都唔洗懷疑.

國際學校咪岩羅，做錯野佢都唔會點話你，文法錯左都冇問題，佢地覺得大個左自然會識，最繄要夠free。

可以afford到, gh一定係好學校
但唔係個個都支付到成接近$5000 per month ($37xx +校車 +雜)

Dear all,
Be fair. GHS should be better compared with other private schools rather than DSS or subsidized schools. Most probably, GHS is to be a substitue school because most of parents will attend the "lucky draw". If it is lucky, they will take the subsidized good schools. If it is not, they will take GHS as last resort. It is a realistic world.

In addition to the school fee, every schools will also charge the school bus and miscellaneous. It is no difference. If you decide to undergo the way of private school, it goes ahead.
Take for example, St Francis, Tak Nga, KTS, Alliance School, Our Lady of Holly, etc. their school fees are all about $2500-$3000.

Firstly, GHS is renewed in facilities and campus.
Secondly, the pupils in GHS can be trained their independence.
Thirdly, almost 85% pupils in GHS (primary section) can be promoted to secondary section, except the poor conduct one.
Fourthly, the performance in sports and extra-curricular activities are very good.

Last but not the least, the principal objects the parents taking their kids to attend extra tutorial because she believes if the pupils studying in GHS can follow the teaching requirement and direction, it is already very good. It is not necessary to waste time and money in attending the additional tutorial.

If you can save the money on that, it is worth to pay more a bit.

If you compare academic aspect and extra curricular activities, GHS should be better than HF.... I would say GHS offers more exposure to students.

But I think the 2 have very different style ... HF is more low-profile as compared with GHS ...

I guess sometimes people choose HF as it is free of charge and its secondary is quite good too

我諗我地係同一年代; 印象中德望一貫既學生係成績好, 斯文, 乖巧, 楊釆妮就係十足人辦; 唔知點解近來看到對此校都是負面批評居多. 當然小朋友太活躍太有主見會唔會唔適合咁傳統單向講規矩既女校? 不過我見而家德望既學生都好活潑, 咀姐姐好多野講, 即係一般女校學生咁, 又唔覺佢地被谷到透唔到氣, 而德望中學排名一直都是不差的.

想了解學校出邊類型學生, 可以食lunch時去佢地附近見識下, 相信都可以睇到d野.

對唔住! 差開話題, 楊釆妮係德望成績一般, 同亞媽行行街比探星發現, 但佢斯文, 乖巧, 氣質, 學校有影響.
但最重要係佢有個超級有氣質既台灣靚女媽咪, 況且佢係小康家庭出身.
楊釆妮同佢媽比, 個個都話佢亞媽靚好多 (雖然係老了),係咪一個超級靚女媽咪.
兩人都見過.

個中學排名我覺得係假架囉:

14 聖保祿學校
24 陳瑞祺喇沙中學
99 聖安當女書院
117 聖保祿中學
140 瑪利諾修院中學

我覺得GH學費貴, 貴得黎又冇特色, 又唔係讀得特別開心, 成績又唔係特別好, 出黎既學生又唔係特別醒. GH係名校, 可能都好難考(有中學back up唔駛煩先), 但我覺得好普通. 唯一同津校分別係佢多數只係小康或以上家庭先會揀. 同學多d小康之家囉.

Totally agree...

其實GHS響九龍區排名一定唔差，但主要好多以前比較有名氣既中學如Maryknoll, St.Mary's係津貼唔駛錢，一定好多人追捧。情况就好似有d由SPK、SH轉去Marymount、St.Stephen's Girls咁之嘛，唔通SPK同SH唔夠好？！

至于HY、聖家呢d後起之秀（因爲響我細個既年代係無麥名氣）又免費又小班教學而且功課唔算好多，所以又有另外一批fans。。。

以我所見GHS既學生真係好乖、英文又好，我接觸好多家長唔敢揀或者最後唔揀都係因爲怕功課多小朋友承受唔住，同埋因爲私立學校個個月俾幾千蚊學費，畢竟小數怕長計，有些人寧願儲起第時去外國讀書。

德望以前係好好架, 我覺得都泊得住女拔, 我身邊都有幾個朋友係德望出身, 英文都好叻.
我覺得佢只係唔好在學費太貴囉, 有d唔值, 因為依家好既學校又平過佢既學校多左好多.

No doubt the result in Eng is v. gd, w/ credit percentage over 90%.
