剛剛打電話去真道問，職員告訴我沒這樣快，現在陸續在出評估，之間校長再看他們的評估後才約見，應該不會在暑假，因為很多家長會帶小朋友去旅行。所以我們要繼續等。

It's really a long long time. As a parent, I am under strong pressure since August.
Some parents said if your child got high score, the Principal will interview earlier. I don't know whether my boy got the low score, the chance for 2nd interview will become lower.

真道取錄方法就是這樣的, 去年我試過打電話到學校想問下小朋友2nd int 的機會有幾大, 好歹有個預算, 想知佢個range大約係頭 , 中 定尾, 不過最後的答覆都是等電話, 無辦法, 佢地係根據1st int 成績, 由最高分開始call 2nd int, 又要夾校長時間, 200幾個位, 又有d call 左唔來 或者 唔take offer 的case, 所以, 2nd int 的過程係超級漫長的

上星期問過學校了,職員告訴我校長在看1st in 的結果,2nd in 還未開始。我們仍要再等下。

係呀! 因為出信的話, 基本上即係個小朋決入唔到圍, 所以舊年我超怕收到真道嘅信, 只能盼望電話的來臨.
到後來, 發現已陸續收生都好擔心, 但一直冇信=仍然有機會!
到今年初, 收到信時驚到唔係好敢打開...好彩, 係問我哋仲肯唔肯繼繼等, 若有人放棄學位就會畀我哋繼續排隊去見, 但校長都親自同我哋講過, 要退一個先有一個機會, 所以...家陣囡女日日都返學返得好開心, 又明顯識多咗嘢, 我哋真係好感恩!

不會收信的, 除非不收你.
學校會打電話2nd interview 校長.
之後立刻通知收唔收你.
再比留位費.
如果收到信, 就一定唔得了.
未收到都還有機會waitlist.

根據前人經驗，有家長試過等到開學前先被取錄。
其實，真道冇話唔俾你報其他學校，呢段時間你可以照報其他學校，包括報自行、大抽獎等等，兩者並冇矛盾，如果真道最後取錄咗你嘅小朋友，你又真係好想仔女入真道，到時入到，見到小朋友讀得開心，又學到嘢，你會發覺等係值得嘅。

Thank you Littlefaith, after reading the 2nd in last year. I think there is something different. There is two round application last but seems only one appliation time this year.
I think The No. of Application this year should be more than last year. Any one know this info? How many applicants for 2nd-in per day?

對。
無論在自行、統一(甲)、統一(乙)，只要你接受直資的offer(交留位費)，教育局會立即將你從名單剔除。
當然，你仍可在統一派位(2011年6月)結果公佈後，往心儀官、津叩門，但有心理準備，對熱門官、津，成功機會會很微。

Just back from the interview. We accepted the offer.
The headmaster asked my daughter a few question.
1. Have you had your breakfast?
2. What did you eat?
3. Where are you studying?
4. What is your english teacher's name?
5. Do you have mandarin lesson?
6. What is your mandarin teacher's name?
After that, he asked me to bring my kid outside the room and let her reading some books. Then I go back to the conference room.
The headmaster then ask below question.
Why you choose the school? Do you have any friend's son/daughter studying here?
After my wife and I have answered. He spend quite a lot of time to explain that parent will have large involvement if the kid study in the school.
Finally, he give us the offer and said that we have 3 days to think of it. And we decided to take the offer.

I would say the 2nd interview is only used to confirm the parent have the same direction with the school and willing to spend their time to work together with the school to build the childrens' future.

2nd-in 與編號無關, 乃視乎首輪面試時表現編排次序的, 而且, 這個等候的時間真的可以很漫長...有可能一直等到明年開學前; 所以, 大家要努力, 千萬別輕言放棄呀!

我仔仔面試只說有拋豆袋，迷宮、棟不同類，要他畫一張他喜歡的畫，寫字，問他的阿名字，住址等.... 當天他告訴我們全部都識，但到現在我們還沒有電話通知，真是擔心

我儿子说：那天他一进去就是玩游戏（其实就是工作纸）但挺多张的，中间还有听录音的，我儿子都画给我看了，由简单到难，我把我儿子画的工作纸送给他们幼儿园校长了，嘿嘿。然后就画画了，要写名字还要写日期，画完画就是老师问问题，大约有3张纸的图片，讲了3个故事，最后他出来的时候我看他还在紧张，我问他为什么，他说好多题呀，怕时间不够！因为我儿子平时的功课很多，他都可以很快的写完，能让他担心。。（以上消息只供参考）可我还没有接到2nd IN的电话！

They start to have 2nd interview from early Oct, that means they will finish all in Dec. If we haven't any call before early Dec, I think our chance is very low la.
I hope all the childrend can get a seat from the government school on Nov 22 la.

前兩天打過學校問過，她們說校長仍忙於交report比教署，所以無暇接見継冬至後。她說只收了很少位。所以仍需要等

I also received 2nd-in call & will meet Principal on this afternoon. But I am sick for few days, still no good today. The staff told me that we just spend 15 minutes, no need to bring to see the Principal.

去年也是我太太帶女兒往second in(因為我不能請假)，最後真道取錄了。所以，只有媽媽帶小朋友second in問題不大，最重要是家長是否清楚及認同真道獨特的教學理念。

分享一下second int.心得, 小女同父母second int. 只係用咗八分鐘, 小女全程都只係say Yes or No, 因為佢係下午四時見,very sleepy, 但我哋做父母早已背熟其教學理念及學制特色, 所以, 丘校長好欣賞, 並即收小女, 所以interview前小小preparation 係需要,所有資料都源自LOGO website.
又或者有second int, 己經係九成收,只不見下小朋友而己.

成功了,但仍有點猶豫, 對校長和學校並不懷疑, 只擔心阿仔唔啱讀...
