標題: 想請問有冇家長到現在還未有Offer呢？ [打印本頁]

本人係一名家庭主婦現有一兒子明年將入讀小一，但發覺原來想要一個小一學位會是這麼困難的，小朋友年紀小小就要面對小一面試的壓力，家長們也要承受一次又一次的Reject信，回到學校又要回答老師的問題其內容只是點呀？有冇收到這間学校的通知信呀？那間学校的電話通知等等…
實在真係人都癫。唔知有冇家長同我一樣遭遇呢？
其實冇嘢ge只係想開個Topic比啲同病相憐嘅家長有個地方可以嗔吓，如果唔係真係會屈死都冇人知……本來可以搵個老公黎嗔吓嘅，不過男人都係果句唔使咁緊張喎一定有書讀。
有時唔知點講，爸爸始終唔同媽媽嘅想法。唔知各位媽媽是否同意呢？

我都未有OFFER. 但會IN 9 間

2間 - REJECT
1間 - 2ND IN

4間 - 未出RESULT

2間 - 未IN

我暫時都未係好擔心. 因為始終都未出晒結果.

反而老師冇乜問考小學既野. 可能我又唔會送返學, 平時都只係上BK 同埋1,2個同學仔媽咪講下考小學既情況.

唔洗咁快打定輸數, 條路仲好長.

Well, up to this moment, I do not find my son has pressure in going through the interviews b'cos we have never told him the consequence of not getting an offer from the DSS/private schools.  My son only knows that he is invited by the school principals/headmasters/headmistresses to play some games and answer some questions in order to show interest in studying in the schools. So far, he quite enjoys the process.

As I know, the kinder teachers have not asked my son (or even us the parents) about the interviews.  Actually I am quite surprised why the teacher(s) asked in your case.

So far we have one offer on hand, one waiting (but declined already), two 2nd int, 4 results pending and two rejected.

Take it easy and keep your fingers crossed.  The best is yet to come.  Btw, I'm a daddy.

我全部私校面試完, 全部都waiting list. 吾知同我係十二月細仔有冇開係, 可能蝕底少少. 我當初都有心理準備可能要從讀多一年.
我冇做profilo, 冇去面試班, 預習面試. 每次都係同阿仔講, 今日我地去邊間小學玩, 面試之後就問佢今日好吾好玩, 玩左d咩. 然後又話, 咁好玩, 我地下次去第二間再玩過. 我地都冇係佢面前講過面試結果. 係佢面前又當冇事. 所以佢應該冇壓力. 反而係我自己成日心掛掛, 又睇電話, 每日又開信箱幾次. 完晒面試有晒結果反而鬆口氣.

嘩，你心水好清喎，我最近呢幾日都無乜提，咁你都知，犀利! 我地仲有兩間準備2nd int，一間叫緊糊。

其實你老公都係為你好，唔想你咁辛苦撲黎撲去，更唔想你等結果o個陣咁擔心，派到一間近o既學校就會接送方便d，都咪話你老公唔錫住你。

我就無你老公咁錫住老婆，幫阿仔報左八間，仲要絕大部分申請人數過千甚至二千，搞到老婆不知幾擔心，當然咁就俾左多d機會我安慰佢啦，呢個都算係我o既強項黎o既。

唔知點解我老公以前唔係好理我個仔既野依家變得好在意(當然同thomasha比仲係差大共地), 以前我選邊間幼稚園, 去上什麼興趣班都係我搵資料, 到開始左搵小學, 佢都仲係懶懶閒, portfolio都絛我預備. 到左有一次, 阿仔去上小一面試班, 佢去左接仔, 見到d家長好鬼緊張咁圍住個reception攞料, 自始之後就好鬼緊張, 好多意見.....

今年適齡學童比去年增加15%左右，競爭一定會比較激烈。

好不幸，好多男士的確有呢個現象，不過唔緊要，佢會急起直追，希望你唔好嫌佢太多意見 (總比唔o爹唔吊或完全唔理好)。

雖然都估囝的面試唔叻，但見一封又一封reject letter，真係有d心痛，首選失敗，雖不至於喊，真係謝晒，家中兩位男士都不在乎，只有自我抑鬱。
還好2年前轉入這間有私小的幼稚園，校舍舊d,都算有個backup。

Actually I haven't applied HKUGA, I am just waiting for CKY and RC. If I were you, I will see whether RC or HKUGA can get the offer or not. For lucky draw, is that the schools in net 11 are better?

My daughter born in DEC 2007, studying K1. I am now pending to apply SH, St paul convent to repeat K1. Really very tired in thinking too much about this kind of game. one son and one daughter is not good in HK!@!!!

我老公本身係一個充滿信心、見慣大場面，唔會瞓唔著瞓嘅人，但依個遊戲令佢失眠、發惡夢、緊張，依排仲有時無心工作，真係三十幾年難得一見，唉.....

因為呢個係關於佢既寶貝一生既抉擇 ma...自己野反而可以好容易調節...我依家都係乜都唔想做....只係"浦" BK 揾 info and 發洩...平時我好少上.

2 waiting result : 其中一間是心儀的。

in 第一間，好緊張，點知亞仔唔肯入去。之後，幾間都肯了。 9、10月還可以，不是太緊張。不過，收到第一間reject信，都幾down幾日。始終第一次收，又覺得亞仔答得唔錯。 10月in哂,以為一身鬆。點知依家到左11月，因為又好想心儀果間收，反而心掛掛。有時，半夜扎醒左，訓唔返。

總之，個心忐忑不安

其實考太多學校,我會有壓力

尤其去要interview家長的學校.
故非常中意只in小朋友的學校.

小朋友只係當去玩,佢地好中意架.

依家去interview當係去玩遊戲。

3 rejected (including YW my dream school, failed due to 15 min late)
2 no news yet
1 got offered but still thinking worth it or not.

首兩次(1st int分兩部分)不用見家長，第三次(2nd int)才需要見家長。

救恩美中不足的是沒有一條龍中學，只有一家在將軍澳的聯繫中學匯基書院，每年提供30個中一學額，家長在孩子小六時可能要再為升中煩惱一次。

我睇當初過救恩網頁就係覺得升中麻麻, 又對呢間學校唔熟悉, 所以無報到~

As the current parents of the kindergarten section, we also like Kau Yan very very much. I agree with thomasha in his comment about the school.

Same as most of you here, we have uncertainty of the bridging for secondary education and hence we did not apply to this school. If we have not secured a DSS seat beforehand, we would definitely have made the p.1 application with Kau Yan.

Btw, I think the school fee of Kau Yan (primary) is some $3,000 and the figure will go up to $5k when school bus and lunch are included.

我地仲未決定到，因為各有各好，亦各有缺點，而且而家講點鍾意邊間無乜意思，到學校收阿仔我先至有需要考慮鍾意邊間，或者邊間適合佢多d。

According to KY's web site, the tuition fee is HK$3.5K per month; a BK parent of another post estimated that the total cost, including school bus, lunch, etc., can be as high as HK$5K per month.

Applied 4 but 3 failed, one waitlisted. No chance for
1st lucky draw because 15 marks applying St Joe in Wanchai.

Need to wait for 2nd lucky draw and knock door stage (my son is now studying at St Joe Kinder)....

我有意入表考埋 "宏信" , 以我所知佢是一間新校有中小學一條龍, 校舍大設備新, 只可惜行IB(我最唔like),40,000一年... 聖瑪加利, 陳守仁(陳守仁是沒有中學部的), 同佢宏信, 你會點排呢? ....

我都覺得中文是更難學得好的語言. 打好中文底先最重要.

It’s really glad to know many parents support & comfort each other.

My girl got 1 rejected, 2 waiting & two 2nd interview.  She is a bit above average & was born in Dec.  As I am a single mother, don’t know if this would have any impact on the application & the “game”… I started to be nervous, and wonder what to do if turns out no offer at all.

Anyway, it has a long way to go, can only tell myself, this is only the starting point of her life, have to come over more challenges in future…..

Wish my daughter, all BK parents & kids have good luck.
