Just called CKY and they said that the 3rd batch of 2nd interview list will be announced next week. So, for those still not yet receive their call like me, DON'T give up!!! Add Oil!!!

The point is 3rd pitch would be number between 12xx - 15xx. My lot had been appeared most in 2nd ptich. Chance is slim.

Fushia - how do you know 3rd batch is from #1200 - #1500?

I don't think this is the case.
The 2nd batch shortlist for 2nd interview are mainly those kids interviewed on 23 Oct.

From my record, 1st pitch was from 0001-06xx mostly. Then the 2nd pitch was mainly 07xx-11xx.
Therefore, 3rd pitch would be mainly from 12xx-15xx.
There are around 1500 ppl apply this year.As Dr Lau said, 10 out of 1 could be accept.

If the total applicant is around 1500 for this year, I noted that the application no. is already up to 1400+ in 2nd batch.

From past experience, there are really 3 batches of 2nd in. A friend told me the 3rd batch is the waiting list batch.

No matter what, still look forward to any chance to CKY.

If you combine the 2 list, application 0-1449 have been called. The 3rd batch, if any, will be for 1450-the last applicant. I dun know what the total number is. Say, 1700, then the last batch is for 1450-1700 then. Also, the 2nd interview is not arranged by applicant number and not random either. May be CKY has a criteria for assigning the 2nd interview time ?

as in the first in on 23.10.10, the lady on the stage told us that there are around 1,500 applications this year and about 1/3 of students will be selected for 2nd in. so there should be around 500 students will be selected for 2nd in. if you added the no. of students selected in the 1st release and 2nd release of 2nd in, there are around 400 selected only. so there still be a chance for those who haven't received a call yet. hence be relaxed, there still a chance!!

Just heard that there will be a 3 batch which would accommodate some students (with siblings currently studying in CKY) who didn't perform very well. For those with better interview performance, they might have been interviewed in the 1st and 2nd batches. But I am not sure if all siblings would be given the chance in the coming batch.

Frustrated, again. The earlier post about the 3rd batch of 2nd interview list was partly true.....Why such important information comes up so late?

Ssskwan is right. This is told by Dr Lau but she didn't say it was only for sibling. But sibling who did not perform in the first interview will be given a second chance in the3rd batch.

So, don't lose faith yet.
