如果演藝小提琴個別初學收你個小朋友, 你地會唔會讀呢? 到底係咪一個 good choice?

屆時知多D,不同的要求,或許會作不同的選擇,俾個機會自已和孩子試試。

今日係registration deadline, 最終都accept 咗MJ301嘅offer. 雖然唔係pre-junior, 都決定試一試, 費事將來後悔, 學唔掂先再算. 而家擔心老師嘅安排.

Piano的Pre-Junior難度頗高,明年再試,入學後親自多了解Piano那邊情況,認識其他家長,自有幫助。

What do you think of the "Musical Instrument Prep Courses" in Cello, Violin and Viola run by APA Excel? Is it a good class for beginner?

孩子多大了?可以考Pre-Junior就最好,Junior機會的確不高,每年只有幾個位置,因Pre-Junior升班,Piano是最競爭的一系。
Violin還有Begginer可以投考。
始終還是那句說話....讓孩子試試!

Thank you bebebe12345. He's 8 years old, but have no experience in Cello at all. I don't think he can try for Pre-Junior given he has not had any experience. Do you think they will accept a total beginner? I have no idea of the requirement.

Cello Begginer 應是 Course MJ301吧.....5-10歲!
讓孩子試試,如對Cello有鐘愛,不妨現在安排私人先學。
對Excel認識不多,不敢評論!

報考的人數不會少,但此點並不重要.....還是那一句,給孩子一個嘗試的機會!
留意每年三月HKAPA的Open Day,可以得知更多的資訊。

The price is $6900 for 24 sessions (1 hour 15 minutes per session).  The teacher is Christopher Cheung Wai-ho.  The price is reasonable but is the teacher good?

Sindy, if your son has tried before, what do you think of the course?  There are 7-10 children in one group.  does each child get enough attention?  Also, since it is a group, is there opportunity for ensemble lesson?

Very sorry I don't know how to type in Chinese.  Thank you very much for your help.

我覺得好過音統果D小組.. 每個學生都跟得好足下.. 同埋我仔果時,可以睇實上堂 (但未必個個老師比入課室,因為佢地唔係年年都係果個老師教的)

佢最好個terms係, 佢地有優先/可推薦入APA既初級音樂課, 佢地真係識ray wong 佢地的....

Some people said that it is beneficial to do both 1:1 and Group class at the same time. But wouldn't they be learning the same thing anyway? What is the value of doing both?

其實各有各好的, 1:1可以專注D執姿勢同音準, 班上既話可以觀摩下人地有咩拉得好同錯,自己可以留意D, 仲有, 一班人夾琴既機會好小的, 班上就可以學下就人, 仲會有群眾壓力,唔練琴驚比人笑.. 哈哈.. 但要睇下你個小朋友係咩性格, 如果比我可以既話,我都覺得上兩種對個小朋友都會有益處,但要肯定兩個老師既要求一樣, 唔係既話,A老師要咁做,但B老師又話唔啱既話,個小朋友唔知聽得邊個好囉

Yes, that's the problem we worry about. It's likely the private teacher will not be the same as the group teacher.
