Dear all,

today morning finished,
also same as sc, only one parent can entry the campus, i'm waiting outside, my husband with son then go into for interview (very fast & comfort). about 6-7 tables in one room, 2 teachers with one table.

2 teachers sit opposite to my son & his father :

first, one teacher guide my son to play:
1) use toys knife to cut bread
2) give him 3 pcs of horse (with  
    magnetic tape), ask him to make
    them together to be a completed
    horse
3) give him a 陀螺 to play and ask him  
    what is it? (quite difficult, he never
    play it)

maybe thats all, my husband said can't take care about him because at the same time, another one to ask my hushand questions :

1) who take care your kid?
2) how many time you (& your wife)
    can share & play with him every
    days?
3) what's main languages using in  
    home?
4) why you choose their school?
forget to tell you:
5) which time you prefered (am or pm)?

after finished above, 1 teachers who play with my kid then ask to kid :

1) what's your name?
2) how old are you?
3) who is he? (his father)
4) show him a picture with a
    swimming pool ( 2 kids are
    swimming, 1 mummy playing with
    her kid, 1 kid is  parking his
    bicycle.....)and then ask him : point
    to 1 thing : what are they doing?
    (give him model answer : 1 is
    correct, 1 is incorrect), point the
    other thing : what are they .......
5) ask him where is your father's
    nose, hair.....
forget to tell you :
6) at last, teacher requests him to sing a song but
    his father said he might not be singing if no
    guitar.

I feel that the teachers are very nice & patience because some questions my son is not answering in first and then they ask him many times....
and my moible is connected with my husband so that i can listen a little bit.
my husband who like this school very much because of nice teacher, good environment rather than sc.
totally using about 20 minutes to complete whole interview and go out.

wow, ur "ho king", u can find the thread 1 yr ago!  Same as the content, I am a bit worried about SJ's chi standard...obviously is low as compared with other KG.

I want to know the Chi standard of Stafford too!  Any idea?

U so far has the offers of SN and Stafford?  How do u choose between them?  I've got the offer from SN too but still thinking whether this is a good school.  Any opinion?

I WILL CHOOSE KV INSTEAD OF YORK BECAUSE I WANT TO PUT MY SON TO TRADITIONAL PRIMARY SCHOOL, SO THAT I THINK KV IS MORE SUITABLE IF GET THE OFFER.  THIS IS MY OWN OPINION. GOOD LUCK & HOPE KV WILL OFFER A SEAT TO YOUR SON.

Just finished the interview (Nov 21), no triangle on form, senior teacher has chatted with my bb, I can't see she marks anything for all bb (but she did asked every kids).

Agree KV's teachers are experienced and systematic.

I just finished the interview today, the teacher very nice.  My son also can their question. Bui I dont know whether they asked him to sing a song, because I was in interview with the teacher.  She ask me (1)who take care of my son, (2) choose am/pm, (3)why u choose this school, (4) do u hv friend or relative study at this school......... Finally, the senior teacher did not ask my son question and just ask him to take candies.............

Yes, I paid the school fee as I like the school's Eng standard as well but now i just a bit worried about the Chi standard as I heard that it is not very high.

How do you know about the chi standard of Stafford?

did you pay the deposit for st. johannes?

as long as you arrive 5 -10 min before the designated interview time is fine - the whole process only takes 30 min maximum, they are pretty organised and systematic.

我明白你嘅意思.. 其實出年會多個小朋友, 亦有可能會轉工, 我真係唔肯定會有咁多心機時間教仔..
至於學校活動.. 我唔太擔心, 因為做爸爸嗰個有好多假期!

其實我好欣賞KV d小朋友自動波做功課架! 第時都會考直資私校.. 只係心存懷疑: 係咪應該面試表現較重要呢?
當然.. KM已經係一間好好嘅KG~
