That's no right answer, only right school for your kid. But for me, I will not choose St. F. because I am very hate their procedure and arrangement. They are very old style.

The world is changing so FAST. My point of veiw is parents have ability to feed the foundation and academic to our kids. I hope school provides a relaxed and friendly enviroment for kids learn and develope. Help them develope their creative skill,  social skill, communication skill, not only academic. Let them interest in learning.

If you have time, go to walk around brand school. At the lunch time, the kids and parents have lunch with worksheets and homework.

written test 只會考 p.2-p.5 插班的，p.1 的一向只有group interview.除非將來會變。唔使驚呀。waiting list 都仲有希望。

Right after the 2nd inteview, I've acknowledged that he has already done very well and celebrated with him.  I told him that since many children have done very well, the teacher will pick the most suitable ones. And after that day I didn't mention much about the school to him.  Therefore he is now quite blissfully ignorant.

No, I didn't explain very clear about the selection process. I told my son the we visit the primary school and just have fun and play during the interview. After that, I ask whether he likes the school or not. That's it!!!

I have just told me son the TSL result. He was calm and didn't show any disappointment indeed. Maybe I pick the good moment to tell him that..(He is watching his favorite cartoon). Hehee

Maybe we have been talking TSL too many times at home. After the 1st in and 2nd in, we have been looking forward to getting the good result.

I have told my son the TSL result. He looks peaceful than I expected (He is watching his favorite Cartoon movie).

唔好擔心, 其實小朋友好快會適應, 當年我個女都唔係英文幼稚園讀書, 入咗TSL初初都驚上堂, 後嚟而家反而最鍾意上英文堂.  同埋老師啲worksheets都講解得好清楚.  我又唔覺啲功課深喎.

真係有好多ECA, 有啲係唔駛錢, 就算係要錢嘅, 我又覺得OK, 唔太貴.  唔好咁擔心, 你應該高興至係.

That would be a difficult subject. . .Did you ever told your son about the selection process?  I told my girl teachers will pick those students whom they think "suitable" for the school.  I conciously aviod the term Clever or 乖 or 叻.  You can show your disappointment, and probably your son will too, but it would be a good time to let him know that as long as we try our best, that's no regret and that's life.  You two may work on a plan for the 2nd phase.  Show a positive attitude and your son will learn from you.

Suddenly, I realize I dont' know how to tell my son about the result released today.

Last night, he told me again he would like to study TSL....

He will be disappointed when he knows he was not accepted.

I am not yet a TSL parent, but based on the school website, there are 3 school bus routes that departs at 1645.  I think those are cater for the needs of students ECA.

to be honest, any school is a good school, however, not any is the right school for "the kid".
SFA and TSL are quite different in teaching style and education method.
better prepare the pro and con base on your own child to select the right one.
the one we choose may not be the right one for your own. just take it as reference only.
personally, i will not put my son into SFA. :)
