My understanding is that this is the 2nd round of application for the 2012/13 year. With almost 5,000 applications, how many available Year 1 spaces are left for all these applications?

Just curious, if we add the number from the 1st round of applications, wouldn't the total number of applications (2 rounds together) would be almost reaching 10,000? (Unless a large number of the 2nd round applications is from those who did not get offers from the 1st round and trying it again.)

All in all, how many Year 1 spaces are available for the 2012/13 school year. I am curious about the chance of getting an offer.

I really like this school, but I am afraid it is almost impossible to get in.

HaYi 今年2012年9月將入學的是: 上年第一round 開始有3千幾4千人申請百幾個位, 今年6月第2 round in 是當重新申請, 得幾十個第一輪剩位, 有千幾人申請發表於 12-8-15 18:43

If 8 applicants join 1 group then 6 classrooms for 1 floor. There are 3 floors.
8*6*3=144 applicants for 1 time slot
If 1 time slot is 30 mins, then start from 8:30 to 12:30. There are 8 time slots.
2:00 to 6:00 there are another 8 time slots.
so 144*8*4=4608 is max otherwise school has to either open more classrooms or add one interview day.
Last year there were about 4000 applicants.
