現中大bba收我,offer honours at Entreace and university Admission Scholarship 及 豁免21學分
科大亦是bba收.offer 同中大一 樣
另外 uk 的University of bristol . University of manchester 都收我讀 accounting and finance
可否給我意見.應該讀那間
-Accounting & Finance相比之下係一門較專業既科
-Shootastar會員講得有道理, 係英國讀係易攞good honour
-外國讀會冇咗香港既大學提供既搵工服務, 不過accounting and finance 黎講, big 4 每年都會有overseas program for 留學生, 所以OK 搵工will not be a problem
First, I do not know whether money is a problem. You have to invest at HK$1.0 million more on receiving overseas education than the money spent on local education.
Assuming money is not a problem, the next question is the reputation of both the overseas college and CU or HKUST. In the personal view, the reputation of the two local colleges appears to be more appealing to the potential employers in Hong Kong.
However studying in UK will give your kid the exposure in an environment of different culture (so long as he/she is willing to mix with the local or international students in addition to Hong Kong kids).
A good degree is also appealing to the potential employers. It is well known that for quantitative degree, the UK colleges would grant around 30% of their graduates with first class honor. However, for CU and HKUST, the first class degrees granted should be substantially less than their counterparts in UK. In other words, it is "easier" to attain a good degree (i.e. first class honor or high two one honor). A first class honor degree would be appealing to the potential employers (or top postgraduate colleges).
