jupas 问题

jupas我不太清楚，希望ek 高人指教：
只知道现在大学收生是择优取录，甲学生成绩好过乙学生，
如果甲学生选的一科放A3,而乙是放A1 .假如只剩余1个位情况下，
是否甲学生仍有优先（比较乙学生) 被取录?

JUPAS intake from Band A > 96% (UST 2012)

Past experience indicates that the higher the priority you put HKU Science programmes, the greater chance you will be admitted (HKU).
In the previous year, HKU admitted approximately 99% of the students in Band A. Generally, we will consider students who put our programmes in Band B. However, due to the relatively high admission standard of most of our programmes, the students who put our programmes in their Band B choices would normally be admitted by another programme in their Band A choices (HKU).

Among JUPAS Entrants Admitted to CUHK, 99.7% are Band A Applicants (CUHK 2013).

當張五常未着草時，他曾在他專欄提到，JUPAS聯招是全世界最複雜嘅系统，佢同佢嘅同事都要花上無上心力，才能在此系统中選出成績好的學生。

連同阿大两個表哥，我接觸此糸统己有三届，加上我私下訪問一些叻人，仍是找不出完美答案。照你提供嘅答案看來，大學知道學生的選擇(不知排列)。咁印証了張五常之說法，各學系可能會去估學生嘅排列。坊間有傳說，某某學系恐嚇學生，如報其他學院同一學系，將不被取祿，也不是空穴來風。

我想問：大學只以學生的成績次序，交給電腦。和大學以學生的成績加上估計學生排列位置得出另一次序交給電腦，那個更好。如果後者，學生排名時更要花上心力了。

冇錯, 選中學至大學, 我地好認真排完5個CHOICE之後, 之後既格都系亂甘填, 但求填門滿晒, 真係幾無謂

計我話，認真填一個，其他亂甘填得啦。

So fill in the admission grades 24-42 out of 42 .... 超級大包圍。

放係Band C，係無乜可能派到本科，但係Jupas喺放榜前有一次改Band次序嘅機會，即係你放得係A至E，都仲可以調整選擇。

學是否需要排D有面試的科目（當然是又想入又有得面試的）先？

不用答得咁辛苦，看看英國UCAS有多少個選擇，不論大學數目及課程數目比香港多，都只有五個選擇，自己排優次及平衡風險是學生及家長責任。
根本不用20個，只看看不同大學及學科各取其類，3-7個已經好足夠。因為香港是極少數可以在出成績後調整優次，錯配機會好細，所以香港不用clearing round。整個JUPAS已經好偏就學生了！

中學一樣，大抽獎根本不用選太多，當年阿仔都是選擇7間，我覺得好夠，為何將一些九唔搭八填滿它。

咁，分band A,B,C,D,E 嘅用意是甚麽?

院校會知道申請人報讀那科的band, 和那個band申請人報了的其他課程.
例如你於組別A選擇了以下課程：
組別A       課程編號
第一志願 JS6004
第二志願 JS1011
第三志願 JS4018
於每個組別中，各參與院校只會獲悉你按課程編號順序排列的課程組別次序，而非你的志願實際排列次序如下：
組別 A ﹝按課程編號順序排列﹞
JS1011
JS4018
JS6004

參與院校只對你所選報的課程選擇有概括性的了解。

是不是只知你是否報讀該課程(即不知你報了甚麽其他的)。

到依家我都不太明白五個組別的目的。

參與院校只對你所選報的課程選擇有概括性的了解。因此各參與院校是不會獲悉你課程選擇的實際排列次序。「大學聯招處」只會將你所選報的課程歸入五個組別，再提供予參與院校：

如果某科沒有指明只收選A-band學生,甲学生就算放D/E,而甲学生所有A/B/C選既科都不被取錄, 他還是會比乙学生先被取錄

唔知我有冇理解錯，有錯請指正。

理論上，大學完全唔知學生排位，也唔知佢可以可以收Band幾學生。他只知道有邊啲學生報佢，佢可以做嘅，就是將收生次序交給電腦，由電腦搞掂。

舉例：甲同學成績7A，佢將教院排第一，將xx排第二、第三....將三大排尾。三大見此同學，流晒口水(佢地冇可能知學生band幾)，但冇辦法，佢地收唔到，教院收咗佢。

或者，甲同學成績7A，佢將教院排第一，將xx排第二、第三....將三大排尾。三大見此同學，流晒口水(佢地冇可能知學生band幾)。教院收到此同學，覺得此同學冇可能將佢排前，玩野而己，而冇收佢，xx也冇收佢，到最未，三大收到此學生。
