How is your own impression about these 2 schools?  As I know, most of the students in 匯基 are band 1.
My son is a S1 student in 匯基 now, the Principal & teachers are caring about the students.  The students have to study either French or Japanese, and one of the string music instrument as well.

本人認為東九龍匯基書院比較好。匯基是基督教學校，每逢星期五都會有半小時作 靈修時間。東九匯基有法文及日文的課程，同學要選修其中一科。另外，東九匯基正在擴建新翼。新建築物的設施將會有學生宿舍，游泳池，健身室，演講廳及小教堂。該校學生大多是Band 1 學生。東九匯的老師全都是基督教徒。

Thank you. We have good impression to these two schools. At first, my son was impressed by the kind techers & students during the information day last year. But noe, he prefers NPL as he does not like studying 聖經 (not a reason from my pt. of view).

Tomorrow, we will attend the admission test in United Christian.

我有個fd係匯基教, 佢係好虔誠基督徒, 緊張自己D學生重多過自己個囡, 佢亦曾經攞過教學獎。我另個朋友(3個大家都識)話過如個囡派位唔好, 都諗住叫呢個朋友介紹入匯基讀

About the 東九龍匯基, they have also cared about student of not christian, they have two class of Bibble lesson.  At first, we have conflict also since we are Catholic.  Of course the school want the students to be Christian but not compulsory.  One thing we should agree is a person who has relious will have good behavior also.
Try the best for the exam.  It's really a hard time for the parents.
(sorry for not typing Chinese as I don't know how to type, the one in Chinese was typed by my son)

其實看你想愉快學習 定 谷成績那種，
以及你自己和小朋友的意願。

如果 谷成績，NPL會緊要D[新直資會好進取]，
事實上，NPL 的 AL 100% 合格率，
而匯基的 AL 90.4% 合格率。

不過，匯基的教學人員比較有愛心也是出名的，
而且，匯基成績都OK， 如果多留意小朋友的功課，
匯基都出過成績很出眾的學生。不用太擔心。

當然，如果你小朋友有強烈意願去某間學校A
[當然學校A 不可以是成績/校風差的學校]，
你卻安排另一間學校B，就算學校B幾好，
但因違背小朋友的意願，小朋友會讀得不開心。
你要小心處理。

Today when you go to the schools again, you can also compare the students of each school.  I think how the students' appearance & behavior reflect the influence of the school.

Agreed.  
The school leads the students to do various social services. Besides, the school encourage the students to join the school's variety shows.  It make a good advantage for their future.

hi viman我本人以前在十幾年前Ucc西九龍讀的，Ucc確實是一間學校紀律很嚴的學校。每天都有老師在學校門口檢查校服而老師差不多全部是基督徒，所以他們都很有愛心教導學生，同樣english are not bad at all. Don't worry.我之後重去england都ok喎。

I agree with "mamapeggie".
And UCCKE (Kowloon East) is better than UCCE (Kowloon West).  Therefore, don't worry, go ahead.

Thanks for your support & useful information. By observation, there were over 100 students taking the admission examination yesterday. Unfortunately, we can't receive the confirmation call. I think we are rejected.

Anyway, I think NPL is still OK abd ny son need studying hard.
