Too many schools, including mine suggest Ming Kei, oversubscribed! Less chance.

循道 just more secure! Rule of the Game. We never know the random number, and consider what if the kid is not Band 1!  There may not be any places remains if we put Ming Kei in 3rd place.  So the only possible is put QE and 聖芳濟 at 1st & 2nd. 循道  is considered Band 2 already in the market, but the teachers and courses are not that bad.  I have studied the homework and notes and found that they are the best of all the Band 1 schools in  YTM, except QE.  For WYK and 聖芳濟, very few homework and no notes at all.  Only suitable for VERY hardworking and VERY self-motivated kids.  Also the location of MK is not so preferable.   Correct me if I am wrong!

日日？So few that you are so astonished.
Book report 3~4 times for the whole year and is very simple, dictation, I think only once, other subjects have workbooks and group reports, but most students do not do it at all.  Maths., a few questions a week, Tests, some, very easy to handle and no need to revise at all or only a few minutes revision.
What I am saying now is in lower forms and I don't know if the situation remains when the new principal comes.   Most students from famous primary schools became very lazy and their standard have a trend to move down.   Many people have the opinion that only very poor students are hardworking.  Also, yes, there are many activities that they can join, but I can see the mentality is going down.  Many students are not doing their best in student nor in the activities.  May be electronic games and smartphones are the reasons. The changing of principals may be another reason.  The new principal is from 聖文德.  Dr. John Tan is quite good, but is not welcomed.

Yes, 純樸 (at least appear to be)!  傳統名校.   But the problem is the school policy, it is too free and NO momentum to PUSH.  And this would not change in near future. So the result of the DSE is not brilliant comparing to other school (even some band 2 or 3 schools).  There may be very good students (academic).  Some are of VERY good family background (blue-blooded, parents are doctors or other professionals), some are from VERY poor families.  BUT, those from "middle class"...... , you have to consider and trust you son !   
Yes, it is a good school and is not a noble school (like DxS, LS) that the boys don't have to compare with others and struggle in all aspects for a place for them to stand proudly!
But, considering the change of education policy is the main point.  DSE result is the only focus, no matter whether the boys are coming from Queen's college, King's College or the two WYs.  
Girls are easier to handle, because most of them is self-motivated (esp. for Band 1), but the boys are mostly not.

Years before, the boys can even drop their lessons and go to play football or swim or tennis.  Now they are not allowed to leave the classroom and play!
Any now, we can see that the standard , especially boys from  傳統名校 are dropping sharply.  It is not surprise to see a 狀元 from a not famous Band 3 school in the New Territories, and they were came from Mainland.  The point is mentality and hard-working!  
The tips from tutorial schools is another problem, remember the "Ice tea" composition.  That is why the EDB push out the DSE.  There is suspected corruption within the broad and no one is willing to disclose because this will tell the world that those students are totally rubbish! You may find that the students gradulated in these 10 years cannot use simple English or even Chinese,
