I called the school last Friday. According to the school office, there was no news about when to send out the 2nd interview letter. Moreover, no 2nd interview letters have been sent out yet.

No worries.

heard from an Alumni of DBS that seems 2nd In for DBSPD will take place from 27/11-1/12.  But not sure if that's true.

Just 1 week to interview 300 applicants? Mission possible? It takes nearly 2 weeks for SPCC to finish the 200 2nd interview. Can DBSPD make it in 1 week's time? Unless the 2nd interview is to be held by more than 1 group of teachers, otherwise, it will be a world record again.

If English is the mother tongue of the child, interview will be conducted in English.

When will be the 2nd interview started?

Is that the teacher asked the kid whether Chinese or English is their mother tongue?  Anybody's kid experience in being asked in English without indicating their preference of using English as a medium?

My kid said that he only used Chinese to answer those questions (same as the teacher as she was also using Chinese to ask the questions).

During the briefing session, the Principal said the 1st interview would be conducted in Cantonese.  If you need the interview to be conducted in English, you would have to make a request when you submit your application.

According to my son, the 1st interview was conducted in Cantonese.  However, there was one session in which the teacher asked my son to write.  The teacher told my son that he can either write English or Chinese or even draw a picture if he doesn't know how to write.
