Hi,

I haven't tried skype. But I personally tried to use MSN and webcam with HK. It's ok.
Other than this to browse internet at yahoo mail is not a problem. It's just like an normal internet service access, execpt those big volumn things will take time to load. For general communication or broswe is fine.
I tried myself in UK in early Sept.

Hi parents,

I don't know if boys are different from girls. They seldom call home. They thought it's troublesome to talk and report all the time. When we are going to asked him details of their lessons, how's their live. They seemed to be annoyed and felt parents are too much to ask.

Boys don't know how their parents are thinking of them and caring of them. We will care if they can caught up with the UK syllubus or not, enought extracurricular activities or not, their health problem, if they adjust to the new environment and Dorm mates or not....etc.

But now, if my son doesn't call me, I expected he is ok with all these things.

I envy those parents who can receive calls every days from their children from overseas. May be my boy can handle all his thing, that's why he doesn't call so often. My son calls me only once or twice a week. But he is only 14. What can I do?

呀仔放假回來了,唉!他瘦了少少也高了少少.不過見到佢真係好開心.呢幾日不停同佢食嘢,希望佢可以肥些先回英.

你就好啦!我個仔下星期至有幾日假期, 佢會留係學校溫習同"hea"下,唔知有冇高到, 不過佢詁要買shaver, (就快15).

我個仔下個月尾就17.他今年是第一年去,所以爸爸叫他儘量有假期都回一回港,因爸爸想睇係佢的進度和買補給品,我諗下年upper six form就應該只得聖誕節,復活節和暑假先會回來.

Hi honeybeemom,

我囝下個月中也是17歲, 也是第一年去uk, 今年lower six half term 無回港, 去了監護人家住, 話好悶, 他知有很多同學仔回港, 因每年的第一次的half term比較長,有16天, 去監護人家住同買機票回港的價錢差不多, 所以他們回港渡過, 呀囝也想upper six 的第一次half term 也回港.

我想知道你今年是否買了五套機票回, 即是: 開學, half term, 聖誕節, 復活節, 暑期, 你是否以學生套票一年有三套的套票買, 另外兩套是分開單次買.

我都唔係好知我個agent點同我攪,因個agent是我哥哥的好同學,我認識了他超過20年,所以我好信佢.由得佢幫我攪.我記得佢有提過先買三套(bundles) 開學時呀仔同老公共用了兩套,但我真係唔知點計,總之開學時,爸爸和呀仔每人的機票價連稅每人HK$9,763.呀仔可帶35kgs的行李,爸爸就30kgs,因此他們共有65kgs的行李可帶,因第一次去,我老公叫我一定要取得多些行李磅數,咁呀仔就可拿足夠的物品.其實65kgs又真是只是足夠比呀仔用.另我除咗訂了聖誕節, 復活節和暑期,我還訂了新年和五月尾的term break,不過五月尾因接近考試,所以多數都不會返,要留在英國溫習. 只是先訂了位.
