學校無講過直升 (我話:唔係bor, interview個日我地 get 到個message話係一條龍bor) 佢話: 學校會用呢3年去觀察個小朋友，到3年後有街外既小朋友又考，如果到時個小朋友同GH KG既小朋友同分的話，佢地就會優先揀GH KG既學生.... Does it mean that primary section will choose some bright students from outside and kick out those average students in their own KG? Seems that the primary section has no confidence in its own KG, how can we have confidence in it? One dragon or not, % of acceptance.....everything seems unclear. I think those traditional one dragon schools like PC or SPK will give offers to own students(those qualified) first and reserve some seats, if any, for outsiders, rather than comparing the interview marks.

比我會揀 SH , GH and St Clare, 有GH offer o既人通常都係會去考SH or SPK , 我相信呢兩間是但一間ok 都會放棄GH 個offer .

I think it's only the formal answer from the school that they won't accept all their KG students, usually schools will keep some 後著 in their hands...if they said they'll 100% accept their own KG students, that means that they can't even kick out the very extra poor student....(I Hope!)

BTW, I still think that the KG student from their own KG, will have a better chance of getting in their primary school than the outsider....(I Hope again)

Agree!  I think such statement is mainly to allow flexibility for School Management.  There are changes over years so no one can guarantee anyone.  We'd better think and act positively with our kid....I believe things will be alright at the end of the day....

There's no point to match our kid & GH if GH Primary is not suitable for our kid finally.  We should consider changing to another one so as to provide a happy & suitable learning environment for our kid!

folks, Miss Chiu called me this afternoon and I asked her for the P1 issue. she said they won't guarantee primary section will take up all kg students as some students may not do well in the kindergar ...

講真，同你講 100%直升的學校，其實都未必真係 100% 收晒。要令不合水平的學生自行退學 / 放棄學席，其實一點也不難。

之前聽趙校的口吻，佢地辦幼稚園的目的，其實都係想從小培養出品德學業俱佳的學生，令小學部學生的質素能夠較有保證。

Normally is three days for dress and two days for sport uniform.  I think Tue - Thur will be dress and Mon & Fri will be sports uniform.

Hi all,

Sorry to jump into your K1 topic, but my eldest daughter will be in K2 in coming Sept, her younger sister will apply K1 this year, but she is small baby, born in Dec 2008.  

Any small baby accepted by GH this year?  Just wonder if GH will accept small baby.
