Hi SPN parents,

For N1 class, can parents accompany the child to class for first few days?  For the first week of class, is it full-day school already?

For the first two weeks, the timetable for N1 students is different for each day. The first 4 days I recall - parents are invited to accompany their child to class. I think for the first few days, school is only one hour or so and then the day gets a bit longer bit by bit each day until by the end of the 2nd week, your child should be used to spending the whole day at school. The induction programme is very well organised and planned so there is no need to worry about your child settling in. Hope this helps

My daughter had just started potty training...she can't do it well now.. hope she can tell when to "pee & poo" before school starts!

I have attended the Parents Day on 2/6, i feel that Principal Sister Koo is a nice, funny and interesting person, the staffs/ teachers are very nice too!  Hope to get to know more SPN parents soon la!

Me too, attended the parents' day. Shall we start a new topic to gather more SPN 07N1 parents. My daughter is in N1A. How about yours?

I planned to use the school bus service but Sister KOO mentioned the difficulties for the young kid to adopt both the school and the school bus at the same time...make me 15,16. I can take my daughter to school but cannot reach SPN by 5:30pm. Maybe, ask the maid to pick her up...school bus is more convenient...difficult to make up my mind.

Will you use school bus? How about the other working mom? Is it possible for you to reach SPN on time?

Nice to meet u... my daughter is in N1B.  It seems there are not many SPN 07 parents in BK, so may be we continue the discussions here la...

I am also a working mom, i will bring my daughter to school before i go to work... my maid will pick up my daughter from school at 4:30 p.m., this is my initial plan.  I won't let her taking the school bus la... i don't feel safe at all.

I've another story...my maid have to look after a new born baby. My 2nd daughter just 2-mths old. It's difficult for my maid to travel. I'll consider school bus.

BTW, does anyone know how many application this year? I heard that there was over 500 last year. How about this year? Just 88, how we're being selected?
