My son told me they'll have 攤位遊戲 during the coming Christmas party.

They'd written 少﹣小 on the Star Book.  My son told me they are 「同音字」.

Also, they'd learnt "is" & "are" during English lesson and the Chinese word「麵」.

My son told me that they had mental today.  But it's quite different from the regular one:

(1) they use different mental paper
(2) Ms. Lau (of K2R) came to their classroom and showed them the cards (I don't know what were the cards)
(3) the headmistress said something (through broadcast??) while Ms. Lau showed the cards

My son said the teacher wrote 30/30.  Does it mean there are 30 questions this time?

Today Ms. Suen had stuck 12 Chinese sentences on their Star Book.  My son was very excited to show & read them to me.

Also, they have a new Chinese writing book today.  Seems that their curriculum will be much more difficult in 2nd term.

Dear all

i was not able to come to internet as the modam is not working last week.   

Want to say thanks for all your xmas present to my son.   He was  very happy on Xmas party.  I wish i can bring him to school that day but can't.

yes, 2nd term is more important cos the assessment will be shown to primary school during application.  add oil but don't give too much pressure as well.

Btw, Ms. Suen starts giving grades to their Chinese homework.  Don't know if grades will also be given to English & Numbers homework also.


Although 2nd term hasn't started yet, have the feeling that teachers' demands are higher after the X'mas holiday, e.g. need to write name & date on homework, English spelling, Chinese sentences, mental about addition etc..  Let's add oil together and think that the 2nd assessment will come soon.

Half of the class had science lesson today.  Ms. Lee asked them to put sugar into the water which will then be dissolved (compared with solid materials like corn, rice which won't be dissolved in the water).
They had English dictation & mental today.

I agree with you that 2nd term is much more important, given we will use this term's results for Primary 1 application in coming September
