Absloutely agree with idaleungwm. Why does not DGS
post the results on the school web site ?
If the school does so, it is more fast and convience
for us to get the results. No need to ring up to ...

DGS的做法一貫如是，信是一批一批先後的寄，這一批是reject的，那一批是waiting的，再一批是....

真的是煎熬。

各位收到waiting或reject的不要氣餒呀! 香港好的學校不是只有那三數間。 入不到"頂尖"的學校不代表孩子做不成"頂尖"的學子。

Hi,

Does any parent receive the offer letter from DGS??

If yes, may I ask when is the dealine for the offer
acceptance?

because my daughter is on wait list, I think DGS will decide to give offer to those  in  wait list after all offered student
had registered.

No news may be good news. Who know ?

As advised by the school today, all the letters shall be sent by mid next week.. Just wait and wait....

二零零七年十一月三日	升中簡介會
第一階段申請程序
二零零七年十一月五日      至十二月五日	第一階段報名日期     申請者請用校方提供之表格備妥學生個人資料夾 (請詳列各方面的專長，如音樂、話劇、舞蹈等)，並填寫個人資料表 (體育運動) 以列明運動技能。
第二階段申請程序
由二零零七年十二月二十日起	成功進入第二階段遴選的申請者會獲校方派發申請表及安排面試。     申請者可選擇參加由校方所安排的特別技能測試。     校方會因應情況個別邀請申請者作音樂及其他方面技能的示範。
二零零八年一月七日或以前	請把已填妥的申請表交回拔萃女書院中學部。
二零零八年一月十九日	特別技能測試 (體育運動)
二零零八年一月中旬至二月上旬	面試
由二零零八年二月十八日起	成功申請者會接獲校方通知       填寫接受學位通知書及有關文件 繳付預留學位保證金 $3,800        申請學費減免 (如適用)
二零零八年四月二十五日	中一入學分班試
二零零八年六月二十八日	中一迎新日
二零零八年七月十五日	中一學科測驗
二零零八年八月二十七日至二十九日	中一迎新活動

Refer to the school web site, the register day
is from end of FEB 2008, Now we can only keep waiting.

If it is a reject letter, DGS will give you a notice and return two envolpe. However for the waiting list, just a notice
and ask you to return a reply slip, no envolpe return.
In your case, I think is a reject letter, you can call DGS
and check!!

Toadys, I have phoned DGS and asked  when would  be
the deadline for  registration  of  those who got the offer.

The staff replied that it is inconvenient to disclose the
deadline, it 's all decided by the Headistress

I wonder why so mystery??

If still have interst on their reserve list in DGS then need to return the reply slip on/before 25th Feb.

DGS Reserve Letter

Oh ! I've received the 'Reserve Letter' today too. :cry:

May someone tell us any difference between the reserve letter and the waiting list letter, or they are same.

Oh my god.

Now the situation of DGS.....

1...reject letter. you received around 16 to 18-FEB
2...waiting list letter. You received around 19 to 20-FEB
3...reserve letter.You received around 21 to 22-FEB
4.......(any new items appear)........


Anyone knows that the different bewteen waiting
and reserve, please explain or advise here.
Really many many thanks.
