Last year, when I visited the HK Book Fair, there was a Taiwan bookseller, and they have a lot of this magazine (past issues).  I couldn't remember whether they sold at 5 issues or 6 issues for HK$100.  I bought several copies last time.  I don't know if they will join the Book Fair this year and sorry I don't know the company name, but it's in Children Hall of the fair.

You know what, in Taiwan, Montessori theory actually is quite popular, there are a lot of Montessori materials companies, you may search them from yahoo.

Hi all,

There are many books about the applications of montessori methods at home in HK public library. e.g. 'Play and Learn', 'Read and Write' and 'Montessori in the Classroom'. They are, of course, FREE.

Children get fascinated by the photos inside and can't wait to imitate and learn the activities. My son just leraned how to put on his socks, BADLY, all by himself about a week ago, wiht the books open in front of him. I saw it happen. Amazing!

'Montessori in the Classroom' is a very good book. Look at the appendix and you will find all sorts of teaching procedures and methods and recommnedations on how to homemake teaching aids and toys for the little ones to learn with fun.

Cost:
1) book - borrow from the library (FREE)
2) Toys and teaching aids - up to you

I myself have made a set of writing tools / toys / teaching aids, the materials costing me at most $100. My son s alraedy learning how to write. He's 2yr 7mths. All of us having great fun. Laughing all the time.

另外，琴日經過旺角「榆林書軒」(即」洪葉」上一層)，發展佢0地有大陸版「蒙台梭利」gei書。
睇佢目錄有五本蒙特梭利宋gei書，但係架上只有兩本，分別係：Monterssoi Method同佢寫gei最後一本書(書名叫mud唔多記得，好似什麼什麼的「吸引力……」)，最緊要係每本只係$20，好抵。
上一次去，仲發現有國內人士根據蒙台梭利理論設計gei分齡小書，每一冊比某一個歲數gei小朋友睇，每本$6。上次去買本試下睇，今次想再去買，可惜已經無晒。(我問個sales，佢話架上無就無)

「榆林」人民幣同港幣比率唔及「國風堂」吸引，但d書又同其他書局有d唔同，如果行開，可以上去睇睇。

Montessori教育吸引人之處在於她能將小朋友之心思全部投入於教具中, 比如說在Montessori的環境裹小朋友全都集中精神於自己的教具中, 課室亦因此而特別安靜。 小朋友能全神貫注於教具中, 學習成果可想而知。
其實要實施Montessori教學並不簡單, 大家一定都有經驗當教小朋友時, 要不你說東他說西, 要不就一走了知, ､要使小朋友全神貫注於教具中, 一､兩次或者可以, 三次以上須很高技巧。
一般的Montessori教具都很貴, 其實就算買了亦並不表示可教到應有的效果, 因Dr. Montessori對教師或教學方法以致教學用的字眼都有一定的要求, 目的就是希望教具得到充分的發揮, 所以初入門的家長最好不要花太多的金錢於購買教具或有關的東西。
開始應多點參考有關的書籍, 就算不用蒙氏教具, 蒙氏教學理念亦會使大家得益不少。
蒙氏教具的設計確實用了不少心機, 沒有太多的花巧卻能吸引坐不定的小朋友,所以先參考有關的書籍, 再嚐試自己做一些簡單的教具, 有須要才去買正式的教具。
其實不論是否設計蒙氏教具, 各位媽咪在用其他工具教導小朋友時亦可採用一些蒙氏教學特點:
1.教學時用語要簡潔, 不要太多不必要的形容詞。
2.教數要先由實物學習再到抽象的數字。
3.從復的操作教具才能掌握要訣, 教學不要太心急
4.最好能有自我錯誤test的方法, 這不但可減少“做錯了”之類打擊自信的言語, 亦可訓練自我解決問題的習慣。
5.做家務是一個教導小朋友的很好方法

唔洗客氣！我都係買左兩樣咋，農場同馬路，同埋塊ABC木板，幾好，有圖同生字，因為呢排要出去嘉賓睇醫生，所以先見到，都係多謝妳報料！   
遲D等我好返D，我自己自製教材比個仔玩，我覺得有D我自己都應該整到，整好我再post比大家睇！

You may use stitch writing. Cut out some threads of different colors. Tell your bb to place them on a piece of black cloth with magic sticker in the shape you want him/her to learn.

The bb can learn 'a' is an anticlockwise circle followed by a vertical line and on and on.

我也嘗試採用蒙氏方法同仔仔玩, 讓他 learn thru play; 另一方面, 我參考了好幾個有關蒙氏方法的 website, 多建議3歲才開始, 仔仔仍小, 我諗問題應該不大, 我當作係家庭教育而已, 由最簡單開始!
