interview 是順number落，請問現在收到call 的，number 是否大number, eg, > 600 or even >800? If yes, I think you are still within 300 candidates.

上次briefing時校長說, 第二次in是由11月17至29日, 所以根本未in完, 就算是好早收到信的都未in完, 所以話選出來2nd in的300位唔滿意是不成立的, 我就覺得之前根本就未夠300位。

But some of my friends who received second interview letters two weeks ago have their interviews scheduled on 29th Nov. So meaning that although DBS haven't finished interviewing everyone yet, all the interview slots should have already been allocated. The extra vacancies available today should be from the ones who didn't show up for the second interview for the past few days due to getting good seats from other schools.

據聞今介有部份小朋友及家長都不太 outstanding, 所似抽多50人做second in.  有可能是很多問題都轉了形式, 考起小朋友及家長.

上回發信300人時
我有打電話到學校~
學校說是一次過寄出300人出來的
不會有錯

我老公估計
也許是因為有些學校都放榜了
例如co- ed   
錄取結果在網路上又可以以身份證出世紙的號碼查驗的
同樣的dbs也可以上網查到這些正取生是否也是dbs找2ed的那些學生~(也許重覆的人數多吧~)
所以緊張~再多找50位出來2次面試

另一原因~也或者真如其他媽咪講的
這兩個星期2次面試的學生~覺得覺得不滿意~(雖然還沒面試完~但都差不多了`~)

這遊戲~本來就是學校最大~
大家都是估計而已~
學校最大~他話事的~
每位家長都沒辦法控制與掌握到

不過~多了50位學生可以入選~
我都好替這些孩子開心
也或許這50人就是當初學校看漏眼的~
這樣真的很棒~多了機會~
不是嗎

只是前300人~真的會開始緊張了~
因為多了競爭者~

我見啲小朋友讀得好開心..

所以我好想囝囝入讀,但係!!

Perhaps it may, to a certain extent, due to the "financial crisis". In past years, some parents who got LS' offers will also go for DBSPD. This year, more parents may choose to take LS (or even St. Jo, Wah Yan) after the Govt lottery.
Of course, fans of SPCC will still go for SPCC, effects - the same.

The saying that shortlisted candidates this year sounded "not outstanding" may NOT be justifiable. This is DBS, it's very experienced and it will never compromise with quality.

Anyway, 300 + 50 out of 1900 is keen enough.

同你一樣, 我們的臨場表現太差了, 我估都係無希望.

不過如果在300個以上再call多啲人去In, 原先的300人機會就少於1/2, 收嘅機會咪仲渺茫 !

I guess the other reason may be  some parents faced the "lay-off" issues.  Because of so many financial company already started the "lay-off" process.  If no money how can afford the school fee wor ?? ...

而家市道真的很差 , 有o的銀行都未解雇第一批 , 就已經想第二批了 . 尤其是投資銀行

我地2nd int 時都係好緊張, 加上當時氣氛, 計時器, 又担心自己嘅表現...., 所以都唔知自己答咗d咩 , 可以話問非所答, 回想起當日表現真係好差.  囝囝真係唔好意思

算啦, 考完就唔想諗, 一切已注定了, 我相信在這緊張的氣氛下, 沒有一位家長會信心十足, 或者有, 但都唔會說出來,

我只會告訴自己, 入到DBS是幸運和福氣, 入唔到是正常, 而我個仔也是一樣如此聰明可愛。
