想請問NICOLE123, 如無意外, 你會安排你個仔升培小&培中?  我而家十五十六緊, 升培小當然好, 但我自己都揸唔定主意他日是否會升培中(假設培中會收先啦).....我又擔心第日如果佢培小考番出去其他中學會否唔夠「料」同出面競爭......雖然培幼未公怖收生結果, 有時都會諗唔收仲好, 唔駛做決擇, 如果收左都唔知讀唔讀好....

其實讀唔讀培幼就要睇吓係咪唸住起碼會上佢小學，因為佢係預你小朋友起碼最小會讀9年，所以同一開始就唸住3年要教識你好多野，等你出去考小學的幼稚園好唔同。
好似校長同K3家長話齋，如果你唸住出考小學，咁你呢個決定遲咗3年，如果真係唸住會出考其他小學，應詃係早3年前決定讀其他幼稚園。

想請問「培小」現時學費多少$一個月??

可以咁講， 萬一你小朋友係培小都上唔到培中， 咁你都唔使望佢可以升去D咩更好的學校。 雖然咁講係殘忍D，但事實如此。

大家一直在討論的都係， 叻果D升左去傳統官津／直資名校，個別十分有歸屬感的就繼續留在培正做竉兒。 普普通通成績的家長唔想搏，有培中讀已經心滿意足，當然亦有人真係好欣賞培正的教學質素啦。 咁升唔上果班就真係龍尾果10幾個﹪。 即係一定考200名打後，咁呢班學生還想升去比培中更好的學校嗎？  我想機會不大啦。 根本有關係的學校，有一部份的學生都係“猛”車邊入，更何況係入唔到果班啦。

The followinghyperlink shows the latest “培正校刊” .  Page 35 shows “二零一零年香港中學會考成績優異學生” (i.e. students with 3As or above).

According to培正校刊, 26 out of 230 students (roughly 10%)were able to get 3As or above in the HKCEE 2010.
Maybe this result means nothing to some parents of “renowned” schools, I, being a “小小家長”, would have been more than happy if my child was able to be top 10% students.

so happy to see you again this year.  We worked together so hard two years ago and this year too.

Yes, we also let our young one interviewed at Pui Ching, one of the four she interviewed this year.  We are much less productive this year.  

Similar to you, we just finished all the interviews just last Saturday.  But we will wait for one more month before we got all the result.  Luckily my young one did receive 1 offer so we will register for her this Saturday first.  Hopefully if PC's result can arrive early then we can decide together.

今日咁o岩上培正個website睇下, 有個新通告關於幼稚園收生o既信會係13號發出(expected la).
另外website o既學校簡介|學制有講"共有 85% 小六年級畢業生可透過中央派位升讀本校中一年級", 都算吾少.

85% of 中央派位, that is around 85% of 65% of total, that is 55%.

中央派位 is allocated after the initial 30% used for Discretionary Places + a few percent reserved for repeaters (or door knocking ).

p.s. this is standard policy for feeder schools, not for Pui Ching only.

下, 吾係太明白. 如果只係55%既培小小六學生上到中學, 咁幾危危乎...

你有所不知啦，培中首輪果30﹪只會IN培小學生，外來生FORM都唔使交， 所以要計， 實質上真係足85﹪，所以我先話，好多真係“猛”車邊入到培中架。 真係升唔上果D，成績真係好麻麻架啦。
