我囝囝studing at 培正 k.2 , 我住hang hau, 7:55am 上校車, 7:30am 起床, seems ok.  But primary I think should earlier than half an hour 上校車. So that I'm now thinking to move to 何文田.

Hi all mami,

My planning is as same as rabbit's planning.

I'm living at Beverly Garden. I will plan my daughter(15 months now) studing N1 in Deborah in August 06(International Class) soon. I need fill in the application form for my daughter and pay $30 for get seat when I checked the DB information . I think its too early.

I also is going to plan my daughter to interview St. Paul and Sacred Heart for K1 to K3.

Should they consider Kowloon Tong's Kindergarten
e.g. St. catherine, Pui Ching and Kentville etc. ?

What are all mami's opinions ?

唔好意思咁遲覆，我們住OS。而家阿囝出HK讀K1, 交通OK, 8:15am出車, 阿囝通常7:30am起身, 仲可以他條地吃完早餐才出門口。
TKO好似真係冇咩好的primary, secondary
所以primary應該都在HK Island 讀了。
KLN Tong 應該有很多選擇，不過衰在我兩公婆都在HK Island返工。 KLN Tong 不太方便。

I'm working in TST.  But, I also consider all the schools in HK side, as my mother-in-law & father-in-law is living in SKW.  
Will you let your child to join some academic activities?
As you may know, all the children have a higher competitive in this century.  If we don't work hard, we may lose.

Hello SandyHung,

My son doesn't have any academic activities.  He joins drawing class at school and has been joining Tom Lee 's YAMAHA course for about 1.5 years and will continue.  From this Sept. (K2 and he's 4.5- year old), I plan to let him to start a bit formal training for 1 musical instrument and 1 sport.  But not yet decided which one.  Any suggestions ?

We also teach him some little skills at home, eg. computer (by dad) and Pu Tong Hua (by me), etc.

You & your husband is very excellent, but I & my husband have no time to spend on my son.
I just tried to ask my bun bun for helping us to tutor my son.  Her English is quite good & she is patient, so I believe her potential.
I'm not going to teach my son to speak Cantonese, as he can learn it from his classmate.

Hello Yi,
my son's school is in Wan Chai district but forgive me that I don't want to disclose it here in public because we will probably change school this Sept.  My son has just been offered a place at St. Joseph College Kindergarten (they only have K2 and K3).  My husband is St. Joseph old boy so he likes our kid to follow his steps (from kindergarten to secondary school).

我同事的囝囝在St. Josept Primary 讀小五, 將上小六, 佢話好大pressure.  佢囝囝全班第10名, 上中學要西(out).  佢囝囝下年要全班第8名才可以留诋讀中學.  St Joseph Secondary 要out more than half student from primary.  

May be the system will change later on.

Very interesting. If your maid teaches your son English and he learns Cantonese from his classmates, do you and your husband speak Putonghua with him?

Tks for sharing your observation.  I also a bit worry about the 'pressure' you mentioned.  But you know my son is not solely my kid.  He's also his papa's kid so daddy's views should also be taken into consideration.  

I think 'old boys' always like their kids to attend their mother school.  可能有情意結。
