The staff told me there's only 1 prelude class suitable for my daughter who's about 2. The summer term costs $2500 for 8 sessions. The centre will be moving to Hennesy Road before the summer term starts.

The course I mentioned (musical petting zoo )is for >3-year-old kids but it is open to everyone I guest otherwise Ms Charliah won't ask us to join and they won't accept my girl who just 2 years old!

Did you join the Spring term before? As the Fall term costs $5500 for 18 lessons, I may not continue as I think it's a bit expensive. Maybe join Tom Lee instead.

I didn't know there is a music course for 0-4 years since I asked the staff about SUZUKI VIOLIN (for3.5years)and she told me this course and then I joined this month.

Honestly speaking Kindermusic by Katherine (I joined the trial class only)is better than Tom Lee!Teacher-students ratio is less and the instructor speaks better English.

I tried the Kindermusic in Tin Hou and the instructor speaks too loud!

If you really want to join a music programme I suggest you better join a trial class first say in the centers I mention above. Tomlee has no trial class.

Now I have changed my mind I won't let my daughter join the Suzuki Violin!

Seems that you and me have tried different kinds of music programme. We are very devoted to this kind of activity.

Both of us think that TomLee is not good! But there are still 10 lessons to go ! Quit? Still not yet make up my mind! But I really don't want to go as we live in HK island and every time we need to rush to the MegaBox after my daughter's French lesson! :(

Tom Lee Music Wonderland - Bad format, quite boring for me. Kids sit behind the electric organ and can't really see whats going on. Very crowded classroom

My daughter joined Kindermusik (not by Catherine) when she's 1. I think it's boring! Maybe it's the problem of the tutor.
I think I'll let her join Kinderbeat when she's 2.5 see if it's good (it sounds attractive!) then may join Yip's later.
newmama0724, I wanna let her start French courses later. How is your daughter's progress? Do you think it'd better to start at 2.5/3? I may join Le Beaumont's French playgroup for trial first.

You know what at the very begining I thought they only allow parents accompany the child during the lesson but I saw a helper (Philipine helper, the baby who is taking care of is my girl's classmate in one of the playgroup!) accompanying the baby in my trial lesson!

Maybe they are not that strict! I really don't know!

If you ask me I would say the younger the better!

I realy believe in early education!

My girl started to learn(not really learn but play and see and hear) French when she was just 5 months (I know it sounds a bit crazy!)

She started to learn French in the center you mentioned and then I changed to another one
at the moment the French teacher comes to my home every week!

As my daughter will study PN morning session in Aug, she can't join the French classes before 2.5 yrs old which are mostly run in the morning.
But just wondering if she can really learn through playgroup there. Or just like you having a private tutor when she's a bit older. It costs $300/hr there! Does your private lesson cost more or less the same?
