Only 40% of original P1 students are  capable to go to Secondary school.

The figure of 70% included those excellent students admitted during P2 to P5, while some students who perform poorly move to other school for P2 to P5.

BTW LS has stronger social circle among parents and kids for their future life social circle

I will choose a school that I believe is most suitable for my son.
2).
Then if I both should work well, then I will choice LS myself as I am a catholic and I want my son to study in the school with same religious background.

BTW, my husband and my brothers all are LS old boys, so if possible, I want to send my son back to LSP as well.

請問有成績好的英華生扣門考LS嗎？我的是女兒所以不太清楚。但如果有的話，給兒子選LS好像合道理一點。

揀yw, 進可攻, 退可守!  小朋友真係叻嘅, 6年後仍然覺得ls係好嘅, 咪到時先考ls囉!  有時睇住自己間學校一路路成長進步, 好有榮譽感同滿足感ka!

Would be great if you can let us know your final decisions.  Anyway, both are great schools, so just trust your judgement and don't think too much afterwards.

This figure is quoted from many LS graduates

St Paul Boys:90%
YW: 75-80%
LS 40-70%
DBSPD 100% due to guarantee through-train school

同事個仔讀英華, 成績唔好, 學校同佢講小朋友係讀到書, 叫佢一係唔做野, 睇住個仔, 一係請補習老師, 成績一直係甘, 就唔比上中學.

**朋友真係唔理個仔, 因佢都係小學畢業, 住英華附近,最後一界抽入去.

From a long term point of view, if the rule of this game continue and your son has a son, he will appreciate your decision of putting him into LS as his son can go into LS without any difficulties.  This is an asset that we can never enjoy.......
