new rule,,, i think they started this last year when i was talking with the admission director early this year at the school tour. reason was to make sure your child understands english and could learn from a english teaching environment.

Is the interview requirement only apply on local students? too bad that the 500k debenture doesn't include sibling priority.

dont think it only applies to local kids.. this 500k debenture is depreciated over 8years and after that you would need to purchase another 500k debenture to stay in the school (not the 100k) which gives a total of 1mil...

相信同原校寫既 reference letter有關，弟弟今年入reception，學校無要求interview，但有classmates話他們有interview。
有老師表示，如果原校對小朋友既英語能力有清晰和正面評價就未必需要interview。

Reception 2017 有600個申請。頭300會在11月要求交school report. Year 1 都有2百幾人申請, 要等2~3年。

Just wondering if your little did get into reception 2017? Is the interview difficult to pass? Many thanks! Also can anyone share the level of Chinese at Kellet ? Is it very minimal ? Thanks !!

Other than minimal Chinese, is the academic standard high at Kellet?

I would say one of the best if you aim for British education in HK.

想問下如果而家先至申請2018年reception, 係咪完全冇機會入到？同埋佢哋會唔會自動將個申請排去Y1, Y2 etc?

應該無機會。好多人1歲前已經報名同埋mass intake 是reception。year1 是插班。

想請教樓主，我小朋友分別歲半及3個月，大的現在申請入reception會遲嗎？另請問你的小朋友是否讀全英的N/K1, 因我心大心細，又想小朋友入IS, 但又想他們懂中文，故大的報了本地N班，諗緊下年要否要轉去VIC/Woodland等幼稚園，或者諗吓步儲細那個.

你好，當年幫小朋友報名時，一個係兩歲四個月，一個係四個月，大嗰個一直wait唔到，細嗰個就wait到reception入，後來係細佬先入，家姐因為sibling priority所以跟住都收咗。
兩個小朋友係返bilingual 幼稚園，讀local幼稚園都冇乜大問題，有位都應該要interview，英文對答良好就ok :)

歲半先開始申請基本無機會在Reception入，建議你好似樓上咁即刻幫個細既入紙申請Reception，等個細既入左先然後大個個靠sibling priority插班入。我個大既三個月大就申請，waitlist度都排到200幾，薄扶林三班收66個九龍灣兩班收44個得個110個位，排200幾既人除開有其他offer唔繼續排或無要offer既人，我200幾就剛剛好入到（我知道我個大既係差唔多最後一個入係因為成6月先收到offer），你歲半先入紙申請基本無機會在Reception入。

至於幼稚園，我個大既K1同K2讀全廣東話學券幼稚園但放學後有上英文課同我在屋企有同佢講英文，都入到，所以妳應該唔使擔心，小朋友一有語境就學得好快既。

請問你是有外國護照嗎? 想知如果無護照就算早申請機會是否都仍會較細?
