Anyone of you will go to pinic with their kids on Monday? If so, we can see each other by the time.

Anyone will drive by themselves? If cannot meet up in the bus, will meet you all in the camp.

I went with my son on this Wednesday. A lot of parent bring Sandwhich, Chicken wing, sausage, chips, sushi etc.
I did not bring anything for my son, only a pack of biscuits and a box of drink.
There is a canteen locate in the park, therefore I will prefer to eat over there instead of bring so many foods.

I will drive myself to the place with kid, instead of taking school bus. Cause after the trip, I will need to take flight to Middle East.

Yes my son was in P3 and they also welcome parent to join in. P5 kids have parent to accompany as well.
Actually I will only have the flight at night, but still I need to get back to the office after the pinic for meeting.
Hate to go for trip, I miss my kids so much.....

尋日阿仔帶o左個中文科file返o黎, 裡面有張類似試卷o既有埋分數, 我見佢考得唔錯, 唔知係咪當計平時分呢?
其實佢o地久不久就帶個file返o黎, 係咪純粹比家長睇o下/要佢o地改正, 定係要同佢o地溫o下書呢?

After the pinic with my girl on 10th, I went to Middle East for business trip at night for 10days. Therefore I don't really know what was happening in school at all. And my girl never told me things about school niether.

Re the Chinese file, 1) correction if there are any. 2) Let parent know what they have been learn in school, 3) Sometimes teacher will ask for doing revision with them-If I have time I will do so.

In normal day, not only in homeworks or the paper from file, class teacher will give marks from their normal activities. Therefore no need to care about marks at all in this school. Cause you cannot contorl when and how teachers give marks.

Tomorrow will be P1 obsevation day for my girl and on Wednesday will be P3 obesevation day for my boy. Although I did apply to attend both days, but I am afraid I cannot make it for my girl tomorrow. In the other hand, I am afraid that she will feel so disappoint.

雖然我唔知邊位係妳囡囡, 但我見佢o地上堂個個都好踴躍舉手, 甚至答錯都會舉! 遇到有問題亦主動舉手問, 老師亦盡量去答, 呢樣係我頗欣賞! (因為據知某d傳統小學上堂時係唔可以問問題!)
另外, 佢o地同老師o既關係都好好, 相處好融洽! 教學方式亦好活動&互動! 唔怪得佢o地返學咁開心!

I talked to my girl on Monday night and told her that I am not going on Tuesday. She was so disappointed-and not even can fall in asleep, therefore I finally went on Tuesday with my hubby. She told me that she was so glad that we finally come to see her on Tuesday.

And today I went to my son's class in P3. The feeling was totally different. The teacher is more stright then P1 and P2. For myself I think is good for kids as well.

這個聖誕假真忙碌呀！

這兩天阿仔不斷帶各科的folder和假期功課回家。中英數工作紙/小冊、數學補充練習、中英文圖書閱讀計画、新的中文課本、準備science project、English coupon......。老師又吩咐要溫習準備assessment。這一切都得花上不少時間呢！

看到枱上那一堆的功課、圖書及folders，再數數實在只得兩星期的假期，再扣去數天外遊的日子，阿仔這回真的有個充實的假期呢！可惜放假的輕鬆心情就欠奉了(最少他的媽媽已沒心情了)。

往後的日子裹，是否每逢長假期也如是嗎？
有經驗人仕可否分享一下？

另外，中文科假期工作紙P.1說有「附頁」作剪貼用，但我卻找不到。究竟是阿仔漏帶回來還是老師忘記附上呀？各一甲班的同學如何？

Dear FAFAMAMA,

I totally understand your feeling. I got same feeling as you plus I have another boy in P3-which mean I need to handle DOUBLE of the works.

Compare to the past 2 years, I really think the homeworks quantity have increase so so so so much. In the past,P1 and P2 they really don't have that much homeworks and which they can still have time to read books or pratice instructment etc. But this year, they can only do these in the weekend most of the time.

After doing/check their homeworks or some reading to me (Cause i need to sign), is almost time for them to sleep-9:30. If they don't understand some of the classworks or so, we don't have time to discuss.

This is only my experience............I know some of the mom can handle it easily, and so do their kids are independent.

P.S; Many homeworks, plus sience project, plus exam revision. I think a lot to do for the holiday.

By the way the paper was not attach with the exercices, it is a separate paper. I think you need to spend some times to find it in the folder and the paper he bring back from school.

Really thanks for your genuine sharing and information.  I feel better after reading your sharing, as I'm not the only one having such kind of feeling (i.e. I'm normal).
