朋友細路就係咁, 因怕中文而最後兩年由傳統轉IB, 而家PREDICTED GRADES 全部7仔.

佢認同傳統教育對佢成績既幫助功不可抹. 佢話鬼仔係好醒, 轉數快, 講野叻, 但唔肯深入而且做野無咁有STRUCTURE.

名校轉名校, 我諗SPCC 係好例子. 據講.... 有油麻地女校尖子過塘, 為左揀IB.

去年F4 只有2WAITING, 即等於無正式收外人直接入IB?

所以其實可能係

傳統模式小學 - > 如夠膽中學尾自選跳入IB, 成績好機會大, 因已大個, 自己知有冇能力讀.
- > 自覺不合IB, keep DSE 仍有勝算出好成績.

IB模式小學 ->尖子自選或被選入IB, 期待有好成績.
-> 其它人如中學尾入不到IB, 留在DSE 難D出好成績, 因mindset 早已不同, 番不轉頭.

因此選擇IB的最好時機可以中學尾段, 之前在傳統學制打好基礎對IB 或DSE 都有利.
反而IB模式小學過早限制了學生選制 ??? (可全選IB私校校不在此限)

我相信不是mind set問題，是課程內容有關，IB school要跟IB指引，一般MYP每科有4個評分基準，knowledge 只是四個之一。如只是IB style, 則不用跟IB 指引

我只講我朋友一個個案，他原想孩子重讀第一年IB,遲一年考iB公開試，即共謮三年，但無位無得重讀，只好升讀第二年然後考試。DSE幾多重讀要問番真道其他家長，我朋友話有一班DSE有一半人repeat.

更高級?!

以數據王你口味, 計平均成績, LPC 可能未必及得上SPCC/DB 甚至LOGOS 喎.

正價學費 255K, 當然入得去都有減下免..

其实唔理dse还是IB, 以入大學数字和入比较難入的神科，真道已遠遠拋離其他两校

我自己會睇學生入u 率而唔係focus入唔入到神科。叻學生間間學校都有，最重要唔係只睇呢班叻人有幾叻，而係睇學校點將一眾中游怎至下游嘅學生引領到更高水平。

呢樣是真，學校點解重音樂及聖經。全都想以這两樣去協助學生在學習上得到更好結果，在方間音樂都成為治療，所以音樂一定能幫到孩子，學校從來無迫過或崔谷過孩子音樂要有幾多grade及考幾多級，都好正常咁當一科咁去教。至於聖經教導就真未必位位家長buy.我俾仔讀我buy。雖然我無番開教會又不是受浸了基督徒。但我接受。

The overall university offers of Logos students after combining DSE and IB is still the highest among the three!

From posts of other members, all IB graduates ( totally 43 students this year) go to good schools, 4 students from IB and one student from DSE go to read medicine. Suppose 10-20 students from DSE cohorts go to 3 big local Us, totally 60 students go to good Us( though I must admit I don't have the exact figures). Approximately, 30% of students go to good Us. This is already the results of a band 1C school at least. And very seldom can 5 students from a band 1C school go to medical schools. Please don't challenge me on the issue that not all good students want to study medicine.

And please remember the intakes of Logos were JUST SO SO at the beginning, may be 200 student were admitted among less than 1000 applicants. It was only 4 years ago when the results of their first IB cohorts were announced did the numbers of applicants soar.

Their 11 year programs and the suspicion of poor school management years back may have scared some parents and some of their elite students may have left the school in junior levels. All these have affected their exam results.

I have no relationship with Logos and don't want to elicit any quarrels here.
