Dear all,

I am applying HKPS for my boy who is 19 month now.  However, I don't understand the difference between Anglo class and international class.  Does it mean that Anglo class is taught in cantonese and English while international class be taught in English and Mandarin?

Dear HKPS students' parents

I am a parent of 2 students in this school.

The following issues have drawn my attention:

- my son is one of the students in the Saturady drama class (9-10am). Around 3 out of the around 4 sessions he attended, no drama was played. He was only asked to draw and listen to stories. And his original drama teacher was absent in the latest 2 sessions.

- my younger son at GC2 was once unable to practise in the free-of-charge Mathematics interest group (the no. of students in that group is around 8), because too many students are using the computer. However, his elder brother at GB2 doesn't encounter such problem in his group (the no. of students in his group is around 13, more than my younger son's)

Do you encounter similar issues? What're the school's explanation & solutions? What can we do?

I once email my enquiries to the Principal, but she hasn't replied.

yes, they're using bi-class teacher system. Anglo class taught by a English speaking teacher and a Cantonese speaking teacher; while Int'l class replace Cantonese speaking teacher by a Mandarin speaking teacher, ie no Cantonese is spoken in int'l classes.

國際班程度深唔深?no, very easy
多唔多功課做呀? no, some work from K1 2nd term onwards; and simple homework everyday from K2

my 2 kids are studying at int'l classes K1 & K2
