As I mentioned before in other SIS topic, my experience about S1 application is shared below.

It will be shared in Chinese, if you need English version, please feel free to inform me.

2007 Form One, SIS 是最後一年幫學生在中一派位呈交成績。2007年9月起，因SIS已有中學，SIS不會再為小學生辦理中一派位，家長可以自行向教署申請。

小兒的派位結果：體藝中學

My son's reference:
Study at SIS from PY1 to P6
P6's academic performance:
English B, Chinese B, Maths A, Science A.

報讀的直資中學：
播道書院 - 失敗
浸會大學附屬學校王錦輝中小學 - 失敗
HKUGA港大同學會 - 經2nd interview後，成功 (有些人1st in後，就獲取錄)

My comment about報讀直資中學經驗：
大部份直資中學都不認可國際學校的學生，她們都希望取錄一些存統知名學校成績優異的學生。

在2nd in時，HKUGA校長說上年收了幾位SIS學生，都很滿意他們的表現，所以會特別留意SIS學生。最後兒子被取錄。
其實，共有3位SIS學生報讀，只收了我的兒子。很大可能是由於成績。
面試時，我見校長在我兒子的成績表副本上highlight了特別低分的成績，e.g.French C

一家人經過禱告和家庭會議，作了一個冒險的決定，放棄HKUGA，等待我們的目標「體藝中學」，就要等7月10日放榜！
過程都幾痛苦...
結果，如願以償！感謝主！

「SIS參加統一派位」
放榜當日，我們從教職員接過通知書。本來以為甚少SIS學生參加派位，怎料，教職員手上都有10幾張！即頗多SIS學生都參加此安排。
我們也遇上另一學生和他的媽媽，那位太太跟我說，她也參加派位，不過SIS中學就當backup。兒子派位不太理想，所以會留在SIS讀中學。
她的大女兒幾年前經SIS派位到庇理羅士，上中學後，中文剛好合格，英文就很標青，學校經常派她代表學校參予活動。

之前聽聞過，SIS學生考到St.Joseph, St.Paul,皇仁，等band 1學校，現在發現原來是事實。
雖然，SIS有幫學生呈交成績，不過大部份成功個案，都是自選時獲取錄。因到現在我都唔知自己的兒子屬於哪個banding.

Anyway, 即部份知名中學對SIS學生都頗認同，只要憑SIS成績，都有幾會被取錄。

總結：
事實証明為兒子選讀SIS無錯，我們一家都過了非常愉快，沒有太大讀書壓力的幼稚園/小學生活。兒子中英文已有優良的基礎。又因SIS中文程度相當(較其他國際學校)，所以升中時，除了繼續讀國際學校外，又可以多一個選擇:local school。

SIS 有了自己的中學後，(即2007-08年起)，還會幫學生呈分和申請中一派位嗎?

No, SIS will not handle the 統一派位 anymore, SIS students may apply it at  Education Dept of HK Govt.

其實以SIS的情況，參加統一派位 ，跟學校呈分，都沒有太大關係。
考到理想中學的SIS學生，大多是在自選部份，已被取錄。不過，要等到7月才一起公佈結果。

As I mentioned, we never know our banding at all.

Thanks.
But I think the Subsidized Secondary Schools will make reference to the students "banding" in their 1st round admission.
Therefore, I believe it shall be dependent on the TSA results too.

At the 1st round admission, secondary schools not yet obtain the P6 students banding/academic results from primary schools. So, the banding & academic result should be used for the final luck draw only.

So, during the 1st round adm, the selection criteria may be different among schools requriements. Some schools already have old boys/grils, they may have reference on that primary schools. Of course, the most critical support is the P5 and P6 (1st term) academic report.

Quick questions - are most teachers at SIS Singaporeans?  I think SIS has a great curriculum but I am afraid my daughter will pick up "Singlish" from the school....

Yes, most SIS teachers at Singaporeans, especially Math & Science.
For other subjects, they come many other countries.

For Singlish, children not only pick up from teachers, they will be affected by other classmates as well.

By my experience, my son is a little bit affect by Singlish, but I don't think it is a problem.
