這兩間小學（聖嘉勒和聖心私立部）都收了小女，請問如何選擇？六月十六日下午便是最後註冊天，請給點意見。謝謝！

我揀左聖心,因為我本來都想揀 St.Clares,連學費都交埋,不過最後都係揀返聖心,因為 St.Clares 近來太亂,好驚影響到小朋友,不過我都好鐘意 St.Clares係英文小學同校風真係好純樸,但可惜宜家轉左校長,所以有D擔心

Thanks for your reply.  I am still struggling.....
I have compared the book lists of both school.  And I am trying to go over those books with my daughter and see what level she can handle.  It may help me to decide which school she should go.  Don't know if this works or not.

可以分享一下st. clare 怎樣亂嗎?
其實可能我擔心早一點, 我將會為小女報考幼稚園,
st. clare 及sh 是我考慮的學校
但自己對st. clare認識不多, 但想女兒可在這些學校讀到入u (這是我夢想, 因這兩所學校的校風不俗)
可讓我多一點認識嗎?

還有, 我女兒較坐「不定的」,那所學校較為合適?

My girl is in K3 now.  Since the change of principal, I don't feel any difference K2 and before.....

I still trusted that St. Clares is good school..... SH and St. Clares are different style in terms of :
1) half day vs whole day
2) work load

As a parent, I think St. Clares is suitable for my girl because 1) it is full day... she can finish her home work at school and 2) work load not too heavy to handle (based on my observation on primary home work at web site which is open for all)

My gril is going to P6 in the coming academic year, my observation is that :

1.請問這間學校的程度怎樣呢? <<== Band 1 / 2
2.老師有經驗嗎?<<== some are experienced, but the standard of new teachers are also good.
3.這是一所英文小學, 請問學校是否要求小朋友時刻都說英語?<<== No, only the subject teach on english e.g. English, Maths, English portion of GS
4.學校的小朋友英語是否一致比較其他學校好?<<==I can't tell but my gril's english standard is quite good.
5.中文和數學程度又可以嗎?<<==Both are quite high (to my point of view, english maths (Selin) is not easy to handle)
6.同學之間友愛嗎?<<==quite friendly, just normal quarrel betw grils.
7.會否有大的競爭?會否很多同學的成績都在90分以上呢?<<==if you just want to go into the same secondary sch, competition is not great, average mark above 90 will get top ten of the grade.
小朋友讀得開心嗎?家長跟小朋友會有很大的壓力嗎?<<==all depends on the parents, if your task is it's secondary sch, pressure is not great.
8.學校的測驗, 考試, 評估多嗎?<<== quite a lot, there are two terms and two tests + one exam for each term.
9.下午的課堂時間,請問是教學還是課外活動呢?<<==junior levels are mainly 課外活動 while senior levels contain main subjects.
10.學校是否所有學生都要讀法文?<<==Yes for the whole day's student but need not exam.
11.學校會否分精英班?<<== No, that is good.
12.這小學能否保證大多數都能上它的中學嗎?To my observation, top 1X% may go to others more famous band 1 sch, next 6X% may go to St Clare's Secondary Sch.  It is the trend but not guarantee.
