Victoria (harbour green) playgroup

For Sat morning session, there are around 7 babies per class.  

My hubby always asked me what did my boy learn from the class...but to be honest, I can only say he will learn how to play with other babies in future with more interaction with others..

unlike the other playgroups that we attended before, like 幼潛 or the Little Gym, both have  very systematic way to teach the babies based on their level...but for Victoria one, I cannot see any method that they are adopting now....

any observations from other mamas?

if the school is not good, why don't the parent let their kids quit???????

好多時會玩幼潛玩過的遊戲同唱過的歌喎，好以將細少物品入樽，唱一個頭仔搖搖搖...
我覺得形式係模仿幼兒班，很多KG playgroup也如此，類似學前適應班，其實我覺得ok,我個女好like,回家玩時會自己唱上堂唱過的歌，不過只唱中文(Miss Tong唱果啲),但英文方面真有點失望，雖然Miss Fong也很投入，但總像欠了點什麽.
報此校兩歲班，主要buy 佢l英文強，但事實...
如果佢英文老師只是一般，是否應選英文老師也是一般但起碼是西人的LH?LH在我屋企樓下，2月就可插班...
我仍在考慮同觀察中...
但V記硬件真的很不錯...

Frankly, I don't care whether the english teacher is a born to be native or ABC.  My concern is whether they know how to teach... Even though they are foreigner, they may have different asscents anyway....  

However, compare with LH English teacher, believing the teacher in Victoria will be more qualified in teaching and the hearts, what they lack is the experience instead of the theory from their education degree...  

Anyway, believe that I will stick with Victoria if they offer me a seat for PN... I hope my baby can stay in a clean and healthy environment when she is still  baby....  they are the most hygiene concerned kindergarden I ever visited...
Last but not least, I don't prefer her to take the school bus... However, I may look for another kindergarden for K1.

Hi snoopy123, my son is attending Mon, Wed & Fri 8:30-10:30am playgroup as well!! If full class, there should be 10 but babies are easy to get sick (even my son was absent for 3 classes) so normally around 6-7.  Agreed the English teacher is disappointing but Chinese Ms. Tong is good.  Suggest you accompanying your son to attend for a class, feel it personally :)

絕對同意,真的十五十六,有時仲覺得哂了兩日時間, 可以玩其他野.
佢d賣點(英文)實在令人太失望

To JL 118 and hihicathk,
If comparing with playgroup of LH, which is better.
My son is currently attending PG in LH and I am struggling in chossing PN next year.
LH , victoria and HkpS are on list.

環境就V記好好多
中文老師V記也好好多(不過唔知係唔係個個咁好?)
英文老師就好難講，LH個個week換...(初時我好反感，但後來又覺得比佢經常接觸陌生人也不錯，train下佢，因佢有點怕陌生人)
另外LH 的playgroup 主題較鮮明，好似講family就全堂講family,但V記只隨便講個故事，玩下唔同玩意，唱下歌仔.
PN就唔清楚，我都考慮中，唔知V記是否雙班主任?LH就是，如果LH2月收左我個女，我會上住先，我女0701，0910也是讀PN,如果到時V記收再考慮.

你話ＬＨ個個星期都換ＭＩＳＳ，是否只是ＰＬＡＹＧＲＯＵＰ？

我都會報Ｖ記，ＬＨ，但聽完大家講，Ｖ記君匯的英文ＭＩＳＳ又麻麻．另外我都有想ＨＫＰＳ，不過又好似好唔方便．好煩．

擒日比我老公同阿囡上0左一堂v記, 佢都有同樣感覺, 就係課程太鬆散.  但係始終v記新同埋環境乾淨0的... 所以我0地都打算比佢係v記返一年pn先, 遲0的k1就可能會考慮其他...  始終個囡細, 唔想佢週車勞動...
