Hi, just find out the route to come here.

Yes, there is many more of EC students.  Just like my school van, it is already full aftering picking up students of Tiu Keng Leng and Park Central.  EC family is going bigger, Cheers!

P2 should teach 3 digit caculation.  I see other schools' text book.  The contents are same.  I think there is a syllabus for each subject from the EDB.  For better preparation, I have asked Debbie 背乘數表.  I see her text book, she have to start multipule caculation very soon.

大家會否覺得 P2的默書範圍太淺了, 只得幾個生字及2句句子.  本來我都不以為意, 但上個假期同阿女以前的幼稚園朋友燒烤, 一傾之下, 發覺原來我們的範圍太窄了.  
其實, 我學得 EC 學生的水準一般都幾好. 因我覺得阿囡英文都數OK, 但在班中只是中等. 故此, 學校是否太千就學生呢?  黙書可令大家都努力些.  太淺就浪費了一個溫習的機會.  其實我都不想用"被", 但我個女是那一種 "學校話" "老師話" 才做的人.

其實, 我不是說要黙很多生字或很長,  只是範圍大些.  如 Backpack 其中一條 Rhyme.  黙只是其中2句.   不知大家覺得如何呢?.

I cannot recall what is Pt 2.  For Pt 1, it is testing their phonic.  In fact, in our generation, we did not learn phonic.  What we learnt is called phonetics.  For Phonetics, you can find it in the dictionary.  But phonic, we just read it from the letter.  e.g Cat, "C" will be read as "K".  Usually, in kindergarten, phonic will be taught.  Phonic shall help them much while spelling.  To my case, we just spend less time in preparing eng dictionary.  In part 1, my daughter usaully makes 3 words wrong.

To learn phonic, you can go for additional eng class.  You may try the Jolly Phonic.  My friend told me that which includes a VCD.  So you can learn to read, as well as see the action of pronouce.

Those want to try the My Smart Cambridge be awared that not every P2 student needs to start from "Starters".  It may be too easy to some of P2 students.  

So, before fill in the reply slip, best test your kid's standard.  You may try to download Cambridge passpaper to let your child to do and check his level.  I forget the web site, you may search "Cambridg Young Learners English Test".

昨天旅行的安排真喺很順暢, 地點又合適初小的學生, 尋寶遊戲帶著大家遊玩整個營地, 很有心思.  食飯安排都很好.  實在幸苦了學校同工.

小朋友玩得安全又開心, 當然還有我們一班跟班(阿媽.阿爸).

真喺好不開心, 原來 Maths Advanture 學校已經不 join.  一個咁好的 web execrise, 為何不續期, 而之前完全無提示呢?

Maths Advanture 真喺好好, 內容完全附合學校課程.  而且 ec 學生的參予程度都很好, 總 keep 住 全港最少4名內.

Smart 123 在 summer 做過, 太淺了, 若現時的內容/程度都如 summer 時一樣, 個人認為不做都無損失.

今天已向學校反映了我的意見, 因我實在不忍心失去如此好的學習資源.  大家若都喜歡 Maths Advanture 的話, 希望大家都積極向學校反映. 希望學校續用 Maths Advanture.

11月比賽快個個我都無玩, 因阿女只可比慢, 無唯比快啦!

$60個, 即是 Mysmart 123, 即是暑假個個.

因無其他選擇, 我只好 join Mysmart 123.  希望不會如暑假一般啦.

我有再找 Mr Lee 反映用 Maths Advanture 的意見.  Mr Lee 跟 mths team  的同事傾過, 話會於6月 review, 問家長的意見.

希望大家真是認真比較吓.  若果內容太淺, 同學用了時間, 但只是做一些皮毛的題目, 實際幫助不大.  舉例說2位數加減, Mysmart 123 是做緊 11+11,  而 Mths Advanture 是做緊 37 +69.   我覺得 Mths Advanture 對阿女的幫助會大些.

我的情況同你一樣, 你可聯絡學校, 要求 join $60個個.  其實今次的 Mysmart 123 不似暑假那樣差, 我會試做落去.

Usually, Chinses parents keep on pushing up their children's English.  But when our children go to primary, we find that Chinses are much more difficult then we expected.  

My daughter's Chinese make me headache, especially, Chinses words. Sometimes she writes it wrong, sometimes she loses some words.

我今天才發現阿囡 mths final revision 書仔幾乎全部未做, 故去電問老師, 老師話一早已叫學生自己做, 作為溫習用.  所以 mths 有幾本書仔, 有排做啦!

Debbie wants to write cursive letters also and I am planning to let Debbie write cursive letters in this summer holiday.  

But I worry whether it will be too early.  Do you know when shall children learn cursive letters.  Do EC ask student to write cursive letters in P3.

In fact, Debbie's writing is not bad.  Once start writing cursive letters, I am afraid her writing will be worse.
