SKH vs SC

How would you choose between SKH or St. Catherine? Please kindly share your advice....thank you.

Hello Jennki,

I also would need to choose from SKH and SC.

I saw from other quotes, that SC graduates are likely to get into Private primary school.

And SKH will have higher chance for ST Paul Co-ed, DBS, and SP primary school.

As both DBS and SP primary are boys schoold, and my mine is a girl; now I do prefer SC.

How about you?  Let's share

SKH girls have much better rate of success to SPCCPS or DGJS than SC.
In fact, SKH girls are just next to CCKG girls in DGJS ( much better than others )
SKH boys are also having very good rate of success at DBS too/

I will choose SKH, if you compare the successful rate to famous primary school.

If you know what schools SKH kids go, you will know how to chose.
Girls in SKH are accepted by SPCC, DGJS, Marymount, St. Paul Happy Valley, St. Stephens Girls etc.. and others go to private/ international schools.
SC is just a private one without any preference to SKH group of schools ( SPCC, DGS, DBS etc.)
If your gril targets DGJS, the best route is SKH for K1, CCKG for K2/K3 then 90% DGJS
But, it is not easy to get s seat in SKH.

I also heard abt the facts. In what aspects can SKH achieve such outstanding admission rates? Qualified teaching performance ?

今年去了 skh 的開放日，　同過一個剛畢業的女女家長傾談，　佢個女考到 st stephen (stanley) , 但問佢係唔係 因shk　學校出來會容易有　famous school 的offer，　佢個樣好不屑的話邊有關，　佢只是話個個家長放好多心機落去就真．
　
今日都聽到有shk 小朋友出去考直資私校沒人比offer tim.. shk 只會時常好緊張問考到咩學校　jia...

所以我覺得會唔會大家把小朋友的努力, interview 表現，　同家長的培養都歸了學校個name 的功勞呢．

No difference!

It seems MB campus having evan better rate for boys for DBS; SPCC and DGJS are at similar rates .

The headmistress stated clearly that SKH KGs ( 2 campus) had more pupils admitted to SPCC than Bramer Hill, means over 30 each year.

作為前家長，我比較認同這說法。雖然我認為聖公會幼稚園很不錯，也樂意向人推薦，但我不希望有人因為錯誤的原因而作出選擇。

SKH is a good kindergarten but I'm afraid it is still way behind Braemar Hill.
You had 25 out of 120 getting into SPCC last year compared to 30 out of 48 from Braemar Hill.
I think the figure is also similar this year.
Braemar Hill only had 1 girl getting into DGS last year but then all their other girls (except 2 - one to St Stephen's Stanley & one to HKIS) have already got into SPCC!
