我在上月因有事所以打電話提前 Interview 對衡道方方，一開大門有一個約20歲着住屋企平時着的毛毛睡拖鞋出來開門,有少少奇怪,跟住入去有一位好似係主任之Miss 同另一位父母介绍緊,咁我以為等一等會輪
到我,點知那位Miss叫休息室入面约5X歲疑是校長或話得是之女士出來同我Interview,
那位女士座底就話請交$30報名報,跟住你可以辦入學手續了,即是交留位費....我很奇怪...話唔駛Interview啦..
那女士話bb得2x個月都未夠2歲,唔駛Interview啦....
跟住好似講完就入回休息室,只剩那位着毛毛睡拖鞋的女仔係道,咁我就問可唔可以找位Miss介绍吓学校環境及課程,那位毛毛睡拖鞋的女仔好细聲話我都係老師嚟架….
咁我緊係唔會比留位費啦…..

really? my daughter got accepted into the Nusery class too...even though she did quite well at the interview, she is still very young (14months) so I am still quite surprised she got accepted...since most schools don't take such young bbs...
so...should I pay the deposit?!?

My baby is taking Funful's playgroup at Waterloo Road and therefore, she is accepted by their Nursery automatically without interview. I have applied few nursery schools for my baby, however, those schools replied that my baby is "small B" and they will only interview my baby if there is any vacancy left. Creative even told me that there is no chance for my baby. Very disappointed. Therefore, Funful is the only school guarantees my baby can get into Nursery program at 2 years old. I paid deposit today. No choice.

My baby is approaching to 13th month. This is the second month my baby joins the Funful's playgroup. In the first month, she didn't participate a lot in the class. In the second month, my maid told me yesterday, she participated a lot in the class. I am glad to hear that.
The playgroup conducted in Cantonese and English. First 15 mins, exercise time, 15 mins Cantonese, 15 mins snack time, 15 mins playing time, 15 mins English Class,  15 mins singing time. My baby likes the most exercise, snack and playing time. Since my baby is taking 9am class, there are only 4-5 students usually, not very crowd. The teachers are nice.
I think the playgroup is a traditional playgroup, not a creative playgroup. So far, they teach weather, day of the week, numbers, cold and hot, inside and outside, above and under, name of animals, shapes, festival and drawing sometimes. They seldom let the baby to explore things by themselves. One thing I appreciate is that they will train baby discipline, they will ask them to put the cushion, chair, and toys back to original place.
Actually, I don't expect my baby will learn much knowledge from the playgroup. The purpose of the playgroup is to let my baby has an opportunity to meet more babies and starts to build up her social skills.

THANK YOU! That was very informative and helpful. I think that is pretty much what I would expect too in a playgroup. At this stage, I don't need them to give my baby too much "exploration time" (hehe...because she is doing that everywhere else!) I do want more discipline and structured learning/activities...that's why I want to put her in a playgroup. How much do they charge?

請問佢地既playgroup係唔係幾時報名都得 (e.g. 3月報名上堂, 9月讀n1), 係唔係只要係佢地度上playgroup就可以直上n1(有冇話要上幾多個月playgroup才可直上n1? n1是否要早一年既9月報名?). 另外, 讀完n1可否直上k1?

各位媽咪, 我係第一任媽媽, 囡囡 12/07 出世, 好煩應該比佢做大囡定細囡, 心目中 pre-nur. 想佢返近屋企既, 我住愉景新城, 想囡囡返方方, 但老公唔想囡囡返 5 日學, 話佢咁細過, 來日方長有排讀! 樓下 playgroup 小冬冬有一星期兩日既 pre-nur. 讀, 但我嫌間野太細, 同埋要家長陪, 我同老公要番工, 要個工人陪好似又冇咩意思, 好煩惱!

而家搵緊荃灣有冇其他好既幼兒園或者 playgroup!

我其實諗下諗下係咪比啊囡做大囡, 3 歲先讀 pre-nur. (可唔可以架?), 4 歲返 kinder.!
