If you use the 'voucher', the 'voucher' is valid for 3 years only.

I dont' think being a "big boy" would affect the use of "voucher". There mentioned the "min" age for each grade only. See page 3 of http://www.sfaa.gov.hk/pdf/common/Form/kcfr/SFAA_245E_(0910).pdf
