How come there is such a large increase in number this year?

Are you sure your source is reliable?

Will it be someone just start a rumour to stop other from applying the school?

I think if you like this school, you should continue to apply for it and don't trust the rumours.

Besides, beware that there should be 3xx - 4xx less P6 student in Eastern district this year compared with last year, so it is very doubtful why the number increases so drastically this year

I originally think that way too.

But accordingly to some parents' information last year, there is no number assigned when they submit the application.  They only get a receipt of confirmation only.

I think EDB may not allow school to assign reference number at this stage.  If some parents has already submit appln to BPS, please confirm if you have a number and what is the number, say 1xx, 2xx, .... or 8xx

想知實際有多少人已報了名，其實可以好簡單，只要看一看自己女兒的申請編號便會知曉，因為編號是由1001開始的。
例如申請編號是1xxx， 那麼xxx就是實際已報名人數。
即xxx=256, 申請人就有256人。
我於頭幾日替女兒報名時編 ...

如果收據係有No.，即是直到今天下午有三百多個申請。

這樣就比較合理，相信到19號，申請數目約五、六百份，與往年相若。

希望各家長報名後繼續報數，只須到十位數就得啦，以免校方不滿你洩露資料。

但我反而認為BPS容易點，因為主要與東區 Band 1 女生爭。若是英華或SSGS 就要同中西區爭，但跨去中西區，隨時會跌Band喎！
