中四選科

囝囝爸

小兒明年升中四, 也要選科.  選科方面, 他比我還著緊, 主動和我談及幾次, 問我意見.  

我解釋過選擇科目對將來學習或就業影響, 不過選擇最好以他學習興趣為依歸.

小兒受同學影響, 覺理科受歡迎.  他不喜閱讀, 似乎文科不適合, 但今期考試, 英史試前少見地專注溫了約二小時, 該科己取得班中前尖成績.  其他文科數理都平均, 所以我叫他等到學期末看興趣和成績再作選科決定.

小兒在校是活躍份子, 活動中認識不少高年級讀預科班哥哥, 大哥哥們給他的意見是, 選理科入大學時選擇多, 讀理科不能時轉回文科還易, 但文轉理困難.

主選科以外, 我提議選讀經濟, 理論和實際層面大, 思維理論實踐語文辯析都可增益, 也迎合世界經濟發達社會.  這科選擇也得到囝囝共識.  

不過選科優先也要看成績, 希望囝囝能有成績選到心中所好.

是像 grawong 仔仔的 2 理 1 商 ?
還是像我仔仔的 文理商各 1 ?

暫時我囝囝心中所想是二理一商(經濟).  經濟科可平衡理科文字閱讀寫作不足, 也學有所用.  其實我囝囝文科如史地他如肯讀都可以, 不過我想這些文科科目將來自修都不難, 理科和經濟要指導下才有進益.  電腦發展太快, 生活接觸也多, 不用特意選讀.  會計有實際應用才容易上手, 如有興趣於大學或就業時學也未遲.

以上所選我是從學有所用去想, 並不為大學選科和就業籌謀.  不過囝囝想法可能還較實際功利.

其實這點也是考慮因素, 學校個別科目會考成績高低可反映該科目教學水準.  不過如果興趣所在, 想會以興趣為先.

不過有公佈會考成績的學校來看, 以優良率計, 理化生多為50至80多%, 經濟為40至50%, 史地為20至40%左右, 相比多理強文弱, 女校也如是.

以前學校有說, 會計財經科目較難請到合格師資. 金融風暴後, 商界難撈, 會有人才流向教育吧.
